I was driving over the fly over at White Mare Pool when they had the road works towards Heworth roundabout. I had a lapse in concentration and Im sure I was doing over 30 when I noticed the speed camera tucked in beside the garage. The speed limit was 30. This was two weeks gone friday and I havent received any ticket as yet. Just wondering if anybody has any experience of speeding tickets and how long it took to get the ticket. Thanks.

I dont write much on the forum because my football knowledge isnt great. Thanks for the info.

Don't worry about that mate you're in good company.

I think with some people they post at times but normally when they think of an answer someone has beat them to it.

It could be number plate recognition trying to catch flagged vehicles like uninsured drives or warrants for the owner. They could have been there fishing or waiting for someone specific.

Welcome by the way lads.

Yes lets hope it was just vehicle recognition. I may not even have been doing over the speed limit but there is always some element of doubt. I guess im one of those whos glass is always half empty and all that sort of ****.

This is most likely. Speeding isn’t nearly as enforced as they suggest the vans are looking for no insurance 90% of time.

I’ve gone past them over a few times and never had a ticket yet, I’ve had them off static cams but never once off a mobile unit.
