"I just returned from a long injury and there are steps to go, but I feel good. As for everyone else, there are difficult moments in life, and to return it to work, that's what I'm doing. I will quietly work and things will happen," said Diame.

Hardly bleating, it's a single line in an interview he's done while on international duty.

Ive seen a few articles interviews regarding diame and his form or playing to his potential

Ok really aint cutting it he should be grabbing this division by the scruff of the neck, his shootings atrocious, he wastes the ball in good attacking positions

Under performing for me, and id like to see him benched if he cant perform in central midfield effectivley, so hernandez can form some form of strike partnership with somebody.

"Qui ressemble à une traduction google, anarl."

needs to play at the front of a diamond with two strikers to feed, not a striker himself, Bruce should know that, he tried Koren up front in the past and we didn't see the best of him

Might not be at his best, but he still seems our best source of chances and goals. He just looks frustrated with himself and the team at the moment and that is probably leading to him making the wrong decisions.

I thought he was decent at Boro. But I am sick of hearing how we haven't seen the best of him.

Burnsy seems to ask every player every week "is it fair to say there's more to come from this team?" "Absolutely/definitely/of course" is the usual response from the player.

At what point does this extra quality materialise? They were saying this in October, it's now the end of March.

Theres quite obviously no more to come from this team of that im certain.
It would have come out in the 45 games weve already played.
I was thinking earlier in the season there was more but now im convinced its just not there unfortunately

Diame blows hot and cold for me. Shows some fine touches but blots his copybook with some aggressive tackling when he gets beaten to the ball. Can show some deft touches with through balls but at other time plays like the ball is tied to his boots. Doesn't seem settled here to me. Just my opinion.

Just as a P.S. I thought some of you might be interested (repeat MIGHT) on our ex-Striker N'Doye who left us for Trabzonspor where he failed to score in 12 games.
He was loaned to Sunderland where he has managed 1 from 5 but the Sunlun fans have mixed feelings about him:

I have already said my peace about N'Doye several, several times. He is, quite frankly, one of the worst players I have seen play for Sunderland. He is down there with the likes of recent flops Danny Graham and Jozy Altidore, although I swear blind I would take Jozy over him any day. He literally brings absolutely nothing to the table. His first touch is suspect, he is not quick, he cannot tackle (as he displayed so pathetically in the build up to the equaliser) and the myth that he is a target man is blown out of the water when you consider he is probably less likely to win a header than Jermain Defoe. The only surprising thing about N'Doye bringing up the rear in the ratings once more is that he managed to get a rating of 3.98. As you have probably gathered, he received a 1 from me. Vincemac

Ok he's my take on it. Big Sam worked wonders in the transfer market in January. Probably the first time for a long time we had a decent one. Not only did we bring in some good players but he shipped a lot of the **** out. He moved on Graham and Fletcher so he thought he would see Ellis about a goal scorer. He walked in the boardroom and there was Ellis knocking back a hell of a lot of whiskey's moaning to himself saying why I spent 24 million on Altidore, Graham and Fletcher half a dozen goals over a few seasons. Big Sam thought there's no way he's going to cough up another 10 million for a striker who may keep us up but took the other approach....I will get you a guy who's free that may get us some goals. He's got us one already but the lad clearly not fit is being played out on the wing. Has he cost some goals defensively like last week....certainly...but for ****s sake the lad is mainly a center forward. Big Sam is trying to do the best he can and get Ellis on board and out of the whiskey bottle.....sad thing in reality is that if we brought in a top quality striker we would have probably scored that second goal in the last two matches we needed.....but on the other hand who was going to come in January where we were in league. The thing with N'Doye is that he is only one loan till the end of the season.....let's keep things in perspective here.....LAMackem

Hull fans seem to rate him. Not sure what's changed. He looks awful and Altidore-esque to me..... MarcusBlackCat
