does anyone else feel like milner didn't fulfil his full potential, he came into the prem with leeds at 16 and was a good player, he's just become a steady consistent player
We should jyst retire from the onternational scene completely itd would save us being constantly embarrassedA few others should also do the same and they are nowhere near 30 yet.!!!!!
I never will ever get the dislike for Milner. He's a good player. Maybe not amazing, but he's solid.
He'd be in my England squad (not the XI, but the squad)
He's a good player and worthy of what he's achieved in the game, including the clubs he's played for. He's an unfashionable sort of player. It's all about little pacey wingers with fancy names now. People dont have time for a teetotal, short back and sides, dependable white lad called James on the wing. I suppose he's the equivalent of Clucas in that respect.
Not exactly a glowing reference. Having said that I looked up his medal count and it's respectable for an international although whether he was instrumental in the achievements or just part of a good team is another matter (apart from his individual credits of course):
Manchester City
Premier League: 2011–12, 2013–14[138]
Liverpool
UEFA Europa League: Runner-up 2015–16
Individual
PFA Young Player of the Year: 2009–10[139]

Anyway, he made some comments the other day about being in the squad for his versatility and dependability rather than anything else and that he was basically fed up of it.
