Do you think the national media and neutrals will say good decision or will they say what a ****ing shambles Hull are?

What's that got to do with it? This was inevitable; I gave him support simply because of the ****s above him, but I never rated him as a tactician. We move on, as someone must be lined up.

Clucas had a very good game I thought so I'm not really buying that being a poor decision, although I couldn't really understand it. Marshall held his place for being a good keeper. He didn't blow up the world trade centre or shoot hundreds in Paris as the muppets on this site would have you believe.

The Hull City over the last month has been almost unrecognisable from the Hull City between August - December. Given the sudden turnaround in performances, and them being consistent since that turnaround, I think it's fair to say a rookie manager had learned and realised a thing or two and our recent form is a better judge of his current ability.
If you mean our recent form in the second half I agree. Sums him up perfectly.

With hindsight it looks better, but when the team was named it looked terrible given the fact he has played two terrible games there previously and never looked convincing.

Marshall has been terrible all season, really can't understand the love he seems to get.

We looked pretty good in August actually. Our manager won manager of the month because of it.

Hope he gets another job soon.
One thing for certain is that his football CV won't have taken a knock after what's he had to go through.

I actually thought we looked absolutely **** and managed to fluke our way to two wins largely due to abhorrent finishing by Swansea and Leicester. Vardy should have had a hat trick and us be 5-0 down by half time, likewise Swansea.

I thought we set up quite well for who we were playing - that meant sitting deep against Leicester to nullify Vardy and Musa's pace - and it meant retaining the ball against Swansea. Going into both games the players talked about how much research Phelan did on the opposition and how he set us up to counter those two teams' styles. What ever happened to that? Seemed to go out the window after the first month.
