Maybe having a better structure at corners, which we were seemingly able to do under Bruce with the same players. Jak in goal instead of the sack of **** that is Marshall. A proper two strikers up front more recently than a week ago, before which he dropped Diomande who had been good for Mbokani instead of playing them alongside each other. Playing Clucas in CM where he was brilliant at the start of the season instead of at left back/left wing back where he has shown to be crap. The list goes on.

If you're on about the first few months of the season I agree completely.

The last few games he hasn't really got anything wrong other than ultimately being responsible for the defence being consistently piss poor, which has been the case all season.

We were total dog **** for months. Complete and utter dog ****. We may have an unbalanced squad but the last few games have shown the squad could have been used a lot better that whole time and maybe we might have got more out of those games we threw away.

It's disappointing given our play in recent games but stupid, arrogant or embarrassing? Absolutely ****ing not.

Give your head a shake plt. Your mind is poisoned and it's not healthy.

Sorry didn't you just ask me if I was taking the piss for saying exactly the same thing?

That's exactly what I'm on about. Though the same issues surfaced in that WBA game. How Marshall held his place after his performance against Everton is ridiculous, and Clucas at LWB was a terrible decision - although he did end up looking ok (apart from that goal he should never have conceded) - the decision to play him there underlines Phelan's cluelessness.

Unfortunately some can't get over their hatred of the owners to see what's staring them in the face.

We can play well. We have decent larkers. Phelan was not good enough.

Regardless of the reasons ie new owners or just wanting to turn things around, it's the right decision. New manager with funds to not spunk on ****e like Phelan did. Even that won't appease some mind.

Phelan has 13 points - Bruce had 16 at the same stage with 10 more players

Marshall, Mason and Keane were Brucies targets and quasi signings being progressed by him and Ehab - Ehab completed them when the sale collapsed - the only reason Brucie left is Ehab wouldn't let him sign Powell - who is **** anyway

I feel sorry for Phelan - no-one else wanted the job and he inherited a car crash - a poor team that Brucie managed to a poor fourth in the Championship

Any new manager needs a massive budget to get anywhere -we also need a manager who doesnt spunk money and waste loans signings like Bruce did- the only hope now is that the Allams realise this and dig deep

Brucies strikers include Diomande, Akpom, Prozzy, Graham, Sagbo, N'doye - just how **** are that lot - I'd be surprised if they'd scored 10 goals between them

No they won't. Have a look at that Henry Winter tweet on the other thread for a start.

City fans think it's a disgrace and someone's head should roll every time we lose. Fact is were expected to lose every game this season. Have we been favourites for a game all season? I bet not. So how is it the head coaches fault when we lose?

Considering the rumour of Phelan being sacked came from the same place as a rumour that we had someone lined up from 'left field' I'll believe we have someone who will be taking over in the coming days. Ta.
I think that's most likely
I was merely pointing out that other things might happen, because their search for a manager didn't seem to go smoothly last time

In a nightmare scenario they might even take an Allam '24 hours'!

The PL is ****ter this season.

I hope all that typing of the B word was therapeutic for you.

Clearly trying to give supporters confidence that they are actively working to get someone in. If they didn't say anything there'd be plenty on here (i.e. you) losing their heads that the club hasn't started looking yet.

The owners are **** enough without people fabricating things to be annoyed at them about. The wording of a statement is hardly one of them.
I think the key word in the statement was SEARCH.... they could have not said that at all if they had someone in place.

Clucas had a very good game I thought so I'm not really buying that being a poor decision, although I couldn't really understand it. Marshall held his place for being a good keeper. He didn't blow up the world trade centre or shoot hundreds in Paris as the muppets on this site would have you believe.

The Hull City over the last month has been almost unrecognisable from the Hull City between August - December. Given the sudden turnaround in performances, and them being consistent since that turnaround, I think it's fair to say a rookie manager had learned and realised a thing or two and our recent form is a better judge of his current ability.
