As much of a turd as Pardew is at least he seems to have a six month honey moon with clubs where he boosts them up.

He'll likely be involved in legal wranglings with Crystal Palace most likely and not in line to join us.

How the **** does it reflect poorly? We're rooted down in the relegation zone and were dog **** for months.

If he's been sacked it reflects poorly because it's ****ing stupid and arrogant. Everyone said in the summer that we'd obviously finish bottom with no squad, backroom team etc etc. If Ehab has sacked him for the team doing exactly that, especially when he's only 'head coach' again due to the arrogance of Ehab thinking he knows better than a manager would, then it's just ****ing embarrassing isn't it? Not unexpected though.

They may well, but you're hardly going to write in Phelan's farewell notice "The club lost faith in that sack of **** weeks ago and we've had his successor lined up ready to go."

They may well announce someone tomorrow or the day after.
Well it makes them look like idiots saying it! So you just don't say it do ya?

Or they may have just decided to sack him and will now spend weeks desperately trying to convince any manager to come here, but with low funding levels and Ehaw managing all transfer activity ...which may mean it's the end of the window before it's sorted...which would mean no time to spend

Great to see the Phelan hate still alive and well in the usual thundercunts on here... <doh>

Also, on Pearson... no chance. He knew exactly what was coming with the Allams, no ****ing chance is he going to want to work with them again.

Are you taking he piss? What other formation and players could we use?

Maloney as a lone striker maybe? Tyson at left wing? David Meyler at right back?

Maybe having a better structure at corners, which we were seemingly able to do under Bruce with the same players. Jak in goal instead of the sack of **** that is Marshall. A proper two strikers up front more recently than a week ago, before which he dropped Diomande who had been good for Mbokani instead of playing them alongside each other. Playing Clucas in CM where he was brilliant at the start of the season instead of at left back/left wing back where he has shown to be crap. The list goes on.

I feel sorry for Mike Phelan but a change was unavoidable if we are to have a chance of staying up. Despite the recent improvement in performances, exemplified by a very good first half at West Brom, Phelan's team selection and tactics since August have been very questionable, and have undoubtedly cost us the points which would have placed us well above the relegation zone. Gary Rowett would be an excellent replacement and I hope the Allams dont procrastinate again and bring him in quickly. Jakupovic replacement of Marshall as first choice keeper will also give the back four renewed confidence and stability. Also Masons energetic performance in the last 20 minutes at WBA suggests that he is finally beginning to show why we signed him, and with Snodgrass can provide us with a more balanced offence. We desperately needed this change and perhaps now we can begin to get the points we've deserved in recent weeks.

I do love people mentioning him when the entire reason he quit previously was cos he didn't want to report directly to those twerps.

Clearly trying to give supporters confidence that they are actively working to get someone in. If they didn't say anything there'd be plenty on here (i.e. you) losing their heads that the club hasn't started looking yet.

The owners are **** enough without people fabricating things to be annoyed at them about. The wording of a statement is hardly one of them.

No den! Syds the expert on how good the Allams handle things! <laugh>

We were total dog **** for months. Complete and utter dog ****. We may have an unbalanced squad but the last few games have shown the squad could have been used a lot better that whole time and maybe we might have got more out of those games we threw away.

It's disappointing given our play in recent games but stupid, arrogant or embarrassing? Absolutely ****ing not.

Give your head a shake plt. Your mind is poisoned and it's not healthy.

Do you think the national media and neutrals will say good decision or will they say what a ****ing shambles Hull are?

Maybe they could appoint a club legend like they did with Barmby, Windass or Dawson maybe, then there'd be another one afterwards to pretend wasn't actually ever liked after all.
