What have Pearson, Barmby and Bruce got in common?
They all departed City despite producing winning football but falling out with Assad and Ehaw.
Once upon a time we sued to sack managers cos they were **** and couldn't produce winning football. Now we have two interfering turds who can't get used to the idea that a football club manager is not a totally subservient employee.
Poor old Mike Phelan he's already in the doghouse.

Pearson left because he had unfinished business at Leicester, was made an offer and couldn't turn it down.

I know it still hurts you, but you need to get on with your life over Nige.

Barmby was sacked because he's quite angry, and wasn't quite good enough. Actually, forget that, he was way out of his depth.

Bruce left because at the time, there was uncertainty around the club ownership, then Allam Snr was poorly, who, sorry to break it to you, he got on very well with. He's never seen eye to eye with Ehab, but with all the other stuff going on, decided it was time to move on.

Just for future reference, will we see more screeching and crying from you when anyone leaves the club?

"At this moment in time we've lost 5 people including the ex manager" said Phelan.
"It will be six because we're holding onto one member of staff who is probably going to be released soon.
"That's 6 in total so that's huge amount of talent going our of the door. We need to address that and find out the reasons why that is happening. It's not a great advert for a football club.
"If you lose staff to Liverpool or Manchester United then fair enough but that hasn't been the case. It's gone the other way. We need to understand why that is happening and why these people went to find pastures new when they could be working in the Premier League.
" It's something that shouldn't happen when you're losing them to different divisions. There has been some quality staff here and that needs to be assessed now to make sure Premier League are at a Premier League club."
Bravo Ehaw - lean management in action, as only you and your dad know how.

Phelan Appointed Head Coach

The Tigers are pleased to confirm the appointment of Mike Phelan as the Club’s new Head Coach on a permanent basis.

The 53-year-old took over as caretaker manager following Steve Bruce’s departure from the KCOM Stadium towards the end of July and enjoyed an impressive start to life in the job, picking up the Premier League Manager of the Month award for August after guiding his side to successive wins in their opening two league matches.

Speaking after putting pen-to-paper, Phelan said: “It’s been a while in coming, but I’m happy with the position I am now in and looking forward to the challenge ahead.

“It has taken time but things have to be done correctly with these matters. What is important now is that we move forward and help this squad of players be successful for this football club.

“It’s exciting to step over that threshold into management, and I’m looking forward to working with this group of players that has done so well so far.

“The support I have received from everyone has been magnificent and I want that to continue because the challenges ahead are huge. The fans have been excellent through the last few months and the players have given me their full backing.

“I’m looking forward to what is to come now so roll on the next few games.”

He's been appointed Director of Football at Central Coast Mariners here in Oz.

Think he must have some link with someone at CCM, I recall their old coach came over to the UK to do some sessions with Phelan when Phelan was still manager/Head Coach here.

We're about three quarters the way up to the top Chazz, if that makes sense, it just seems a bit of a mess up there tbh. We've tried it up at the top, both today and tonight, tomorrow we're off to the front, little Oscar'll love it, guaranteed. We're planning on having a walk through to Benalmedina at some point to see if their marina compares with ours too , after that I'm off on trip advisor to find the best Italian restaurant.

If by ours you mean the marina in Hull you'll find it compares well. Not as good, obviously, and the only reason a lot of people go there is because there is nothing else to do.

Yeah that was three years ago Castro, we went back again this year, it's quite nice but Mijas is even nicer.
