    This is interesting..

"I am extremely grateful we took in Stephen Clemence. Mick was instrumental and had no problem with Stephen coming here." Steve Bruce.

It sounds like he was more than happy to lose Clemence to Villa, I think he wants to bring in his own staff and really make it his team.

First day Chazz, but yeah I'm a bit, meh, about the place at the minute. Struggled to find any good places to eat today and tonight. The best thing about it so far is the company I'm with, Mrs. LBIA, my eldest lad, his wife, and our first grandchild, Oscar, who is just over 12 months old now, I'm taking him on the beach tomorrow, can't wait!

It's not a Benidorm type of place Chaz, been a few times, the main bar area centre's around the Marina but if you step back from the main prom area there are many a British pub type bar, cheap as well. It's the same all the way down the coast right into Benalmadena more of a restaurant/bar culture then a boozy place, they are big on fish meals and I don't mean fish and chips.

Thats what we found. there was nowhere to go. Are you on the sea front or up top? We were near the train station up top. JUst werent many bars at all.
Honestly mate get on the train its easy and go to Malaga. you will love it.
Struggled to find bars period ref. Im happy in Spanish bars, it was just a struggle. I was really disappointed as i'd never been before.

Im just looking at flights for either Malaga or Alicante for a weekend for me and the mrs.

We're about three quarters the way up to the top Chazz, if that makes sense, it just seems a bit of a mess up there tbh. We've tried it up at the top, both today and tonight, tomorrow we're off to the front, little Oscar'll love it, guaranteed. We're planning on having a walk through to Benalmedina at some point to see if their marina compares with ours too , after that I'm off on trip advisor to find the best Italian restaurant.

You've got great company so it'll be fine. As ref says there is some good fish restaurants. Ihad grilled sardines a few times. Lovely.
