Agree with some of this,in particular the one up front. At some point we're going to need to go looking for goals to win games,we're not getting them with this set up.I think we'd be far stronger in a 4-4-2?Performance wasn’t as bad as some are suggesting. I was just disappointed to see a lack of bravery in team selection (1 striker as usual - will never understand it) and the way some of our players do something good (e.g. turn on the ball and lose their man), only to then pick the backwards option and un-do their positive play/kill the momentum. This happened a lot and should be looked at. Middlesbrough did the opposite today, and it’s why they had a lot more chances.
We don’t have the players we had last season. But we aren’t a bottom 3 squad. We need a positive and experienced manager who can change the mood around the place.
Also worth pointing out that we're not going to come up against Ben Doak every week, the lad is class,Boro are lucky to have him and he makes a huge difference.Boro are probably better than us without him, with him they're far superior. That was a hard game for Andy Dawson, trouble is it doesn't look much easier next Saturday.
We live in hope.
