What's the matter with you, can't you read? It's fairly obvious from my earlier post that I have only two friends.
Why don't you get the train to Burnley? Will put you back about £35 (estimate) but i regularly travel to Preston and my train stops at Burnley Manchester Road If you get a return Hull to Leeds then from Leeds you'll want the Blackpool North Train to Burnley return. Will take you about 2 hours maybe quicker. Think the last train back from Burnley is about 9 (not to sure you'd have to check)
anyone remember the 67/68 season when we played them 4 times in 11 days? FA Cup round 3 on the Saturday. Replay mid-week, then a league game the following saturday and a 2nd replay (we lost) the next Wednesday. In the late 60s and early 70s they were one of our biggest rivals and there always seemed to be a bit of an edge to the games.
I missed last seasons Boxing Day cracker away at Sheff Utd and i'm pissed off about it to. But unfortunately i was too skint. I haven't seen us lose on the road this season- Peterborough, Derby and Forest. Deffo off to this one and then to Burnley on New Years. Should be two crackin away days.
I rang the ticket office earlier, they said i should be ok for TT,i'm going to the ticket office tommorow. Anyone know if i can take a couple of bottles of Knob Creek on the coach with me ? I don't get to see many away games,so i don't know the form really. Oh i won't have to take the whiskey into the ground.
Not allowed on any coach or mini bus anymore....... And on topic i wish i could go but off to Burnley the week after so see you all there!
The thing is i won't be drinking it,just taking it back to my sisters in York. It's just if i get searched that's all. I won't be returning to Ull on the coach !
Going by what I've been told when travelling by coach before, it is illegal to drink alcohol in coaches full stop. EDIT: Don't know about carrying though..
your not meant to drink on TT But me and my mates always take a few beers and no one complains. So u will be fine as long as you leave your bag in the coach when you go into the ground.
