My question is what on earth has he done that (in sbulby's view) has warranted such an aggressive stance from the club?
Requesting a year long loan elsewhere after the manager that signed him had left under a bit of a cloud shouldn't warrant the hostility many seem to show especially after all the good things he'd done?
I just wander why on earth a mediated resolution can't be found...we seem to be developing a history of negative fallings out with players and staff over the last couple of years and I for one don't like it.
He jumped ship at the first opportune moment and would have signed for Napoli this summer if he was still any good. It is obvious he doesn't want to play for us. We were the club that gave him a 'superstar' tag, and he didn't thank the club (unlike Chico, JDG et Al who did) when he went. So as far as I'm concerned, yes he was magnificent during his first season, but if he doesn't want to play for Swansea, he can get stuffed
