If MT is returning I hope it's a loan situation. I don't want to hear that Chester is leaving even for the return of MT.

Hobbs and Chester are doing a great job right now.

I hate January.

All transfers should be in August only IMO, including managers.

You'd have had us stuck with Molby and Parkinson.

If MT is to return, could it be that Rosenior could be the player leaving and that MT would slot in alongside Hobbs and Chester moves to right back.

Lets get a few things straight:

Turner loved it here, loved the team, the club, the fans the lot. Didnt want to leave but due to the then clowns running the club we had to let him go on the cheap.

Would he fit in with us? Of course, would drop straight in for Hobbs (like for like players) unless we are looking atplaying 5-3-2/3-5-2 (Roseinor and Dudgeon as wing backs, McKenna and Gibson CM, Koren AM, Fryatt plus another up top), however doubt that very much

Could we afford him? Yes, if Chester was going then definately, however would leave no pace at CB

We need him as cover for CB? No we dont, I expect that Chester will pick up a yellow at Boro, McShane or Killer (who's loan end on the 1st) will stand in for a game, before leaving the club (McShane and Kibane will both leave in Jan), with a new young defender coming in as back up to Chester/Hobbs

In short I think it is a complete non-starter, none of our starting xi will be going, nor any of the main bench warmers. Harper, McShane, Kilbane will all be off. We will bring in a versitile forward and a young versitile defender, possibly tie up a deal of a keeper in summer (Mannone??), I fully expect we will get an extention on the Bradey loan too

Why dont you just put Pisces, Libra and Virgo infront of each double space and stick it in the HDM

This ties in with the rumour I heard a week or two back that Hobbs wants to go back to Pearson and Pearson wants him back and everyone around the team thinks they will join up again as they were as thick as thieves during their time together here

He has already ready said he does not want to move his family again, and he knows that NP could be sacked at the end of the season if he does not get them up, so to make a move there is a big gamble. NP might also walk away again from Lesta if he falls out with the Thai owners, which in time is likely to happen.

Too right. Transfer windows is European bollocks!

And I'm pro EU!

You say that like the windows were the EU's idea. They were the football authorities' idea and the EU then permitted them despite them being against EU law as they recognised that Sport was different to normal business so should be granted dispensation from some of the regulations.

NP could easily fall out with the current Lesta owners. It seems it doesn't take much for him to pack his bags when he gets or senses any sort of criticism. This is a part of his character which causes problems, and in the future may affect signings.

Looking at the Lesta board, a lot are asking for Sven back as at least he played attractive football. Sound familiar.

Nigel Pearson hasnt started yet. Major surgery is required at the King Prawn and there is no better team (ie Nigel Pearson, Shakespere, etc) to do it. Just look where Hull City were 18 months ago.
