Richard Garcia and Alex Bruce currently on the pitch for the Carrick all stars.

Garcia still looks fit as a fiddle.

Meanwhile Berbatov seems to have sprouted more hair than when I last saw him.

Live on ITV.

The Carragher and Neville rivalry is hilarious. Carragher has just taken Neville out on the right wing.

Why not?

I was pinned to the sofa by my sleeping daughter so couldn't do much else.

Some quality players on show. Seedorf was the pick.

He's looking for a job in England...

I wasn't being arsey, I was wondering what the attraction was? Personally I cannot think of any situation in which I'd watch this and of the other 100+ channels on I think I'd struggle to find anything I'd like to watch less.

Red Dwarf?

Surely you'd rather watch Carrick's testimonial than Red Dwarf.

I'd rather stick pins in my bastard eyes.

I would expect Garcia to - he's only just retired a month ago!

Personally I was annoyed at myself for missing it. As testimonials go, it seems they really put a show on. Proper exhibition match with an incredible lineup. What's not to like?

Watched most of the game, thought it was very entertaining and reasonably competitive.

That it was. It's interesting to see top players with the shackles off and playing with a freedom they never had.

I think Darren Fletcher is still trying to untwist himself after that Seedorf drag back.

Testimonials used to be to provide a retiring player with a bit of dosh to help them through their old age. PL players shouldn't need it now, I wonder what they do with the money?
