Not necessarily Dai, the site uses cookies, these cookies store information about your login session. These cookies are stored by your browser to keep you logged in. There is a reason why the first port of call for any on-line issues is to clear your cache and cookies. As then it rules out those being at fault.
Now I haven't checked how Not606 works as it uses VBulletin, I prefer IPB myself, but there could for example be a login cookie which checks to see your account is logged in, and another with a session ID, if your session ID does not match that of the database stored ID, then it would log you out. Now the site would then request the cookies to be removed as it attempts to log you out, but the browser could be at fault and does not delete the cookie, it then ends up in an endless loop of the site seeing you logged in, session ID not matching, trying to delete cookies (to log you out) and round and round you go. Now I am not saying its as simple as this, its far more complex, but its a place to start. A first port of call to rule things out.
Go look for yourself how many cookies this site stores on your browser.
Here is mine:
You must log in or register to see images
Now when someone asks for browser information, there is a reason, some sites don't work unless you are using Explorer, trust me I have used sites which I have to use IE only. Other sites then don't play ball with IE. It could be the cookie storing is having problems, so again, when asking for browser usage, its merely to rule something out, rather than to say its the cause.
If for example you are using IE, and Dragon is using Chrome, it rules out a browser conflict, as its unlikely that both browsers would have the same fault. But instead of answering the simple question, people claim that the browser is not at fault, how do you KNOW its not at fault? IF you KNOW its not at fault, then you must know what IS at fault, so please do share.
A great way to find problems is to find something that is common between all those having the problem, as its clearly not happening to everyone, so that can be a reason to suspect its not a site issue, but could be elsewhere. It may still be a site issue, but unless you ask, and get decent responses instead of people claiming they know its not a browser, yet providing no info, you aint going to solve nothing. I have moderated games, forums and the like to know you start at the basics to figure out problems, but its usually made harder by those with as much patience as I have in my little finger.
After ruling out something simple as a browser issue, you ask if they can log in at another laptop/pc/phone to see if the issue happens there too. If you can it could still be a cookie storing issue on your current pc/laptop/phone. If not then you can rule that idea out. IF you want it fixed then help find the problem, if not then please give up with the moaning. After all, I personally don't give a toss, the site works fine for me.
