The Luton match thread (Pops used to close the matchday thread after a couple of days ready for the next one).
The transfer rumour thread (the window's closed now?)
Have we allowed enough time for everyone to check their scores from Saturday (I was going to give it until midweek) ?
Should the rumour thread not stay there until the end of the month (the loan deadline), which is/was my thinking ?
They can be unpinned now if that's what's wanted, Burley, and we could also unpin Donny's twitter one if appropriate (it's not as popular/exciting as it was)

Its not for me to tell you what to do Gordon. You asked a question and I came up with an answer with reasons for unsticking them.
The threads I suggested will still stay on the front page for quite a while anyway until more threads are created so they don't really need to remain stickied.

Everybody knows that I merged them, and I told the poster why . . . . and I didn't know that he never reads the rumour threads (I thought that we all did, being as it's been possibly the most interesting thread for weeks 'cos of the window').
It's as if some think that I did it deliberately to upset Teesand he knows that I didn't !
Just reading through this, and i am another who does not read the rumour thread, if you are wondering, its too much to take in and fairly pointless imo. I dont like rumours, as Sir Bob would say.

My opinion:
3 threads for prediction league, are all necessary?
Twitter feed?
Transfer rumors, end of window officially and probably quieten down even with the loan window staying open?
Betting, fairly inactive?
MDT - game is over now onto the next?
If a thread is active enough it'd stay on the first page near the top anyway.
If it isn't and falls away does that not tell you that it's not popular/important and therefore doesn't need pinned?
Just my two pence, feel free to acknowledge/ignore where ever you wish.

Betting thread is getting weekly posts again as the season has started. Time for that to be unstickied is in the close season imo.
