What happened to this only selling to someone who has the interest of the Club at heart, now it seemingly depends on who'll pay the transfer money.

The transfer money isn't owed to Allam house though it's owed to the club though so who the club owe money to doesn't make a difference, if they the club goes into admin the allams would lose the club and pretty much all debt owed bar a few pence in the pound. I may be wrong but I just don't see them doing it at all. Financially they would b better off selling the club for say £10m and just writing off the debt as apposed to admin

They won't write off the debt, money up front plus money from already guaranteed transfer sales still to come in (Jarrod and Harry) may work subject to any new owner/s underwriting future payment/s with a PG.

That said, even at £30m it's not worth it, and I couldn't imagine anyone validating any valuation of that level given we are now in Div 1 and the current economic climate!

Ehab talking about lowering the price of the club is all smoking mirrors and more crap!

It was obvious from the moment they earmarked the Bowen money against future losses, which was almost immediately after the sale, that it was going to pay their interest for 3 or 4 years.

Ehab's job is to try not to lose any more money during each season than possible while they milk the money out. He must be creaming himself over the salary cap as it just made them less open to scrutiny. Covid didn't help though as they will now run out of Bowen money earlier.

As soon as that money is gone, they'll sell up for whatever they can get ... unless they fluke more money from transfers.

The club should email members asking if they're happy to continue paying, with the offer of cheaper memberships ( or season passes, ha ha) in future seasons if they do so. Still, no one tells them how to...
They’ll probably put the price up.
