Off Topic Membership conundrum

Times have changed though m8,seen our first year back in the prem was 25,000 average, you could pay on the gate every where and there were very few sell outs, even scum away was pay on gate and only around 50,000 crowds.Think the year we went down they had changed even then, think we lost at home to Pompey near end of season and crowd was about 38,000

Yes this is true - the ****tier the better.........<laugh>

Hope you guys are going to support Newport tomorrow in their 5th round game against Man City. They've got a financial lifeline for this years cup run through the FA progress money, being the last League 2 club left has earned them another £250,000, and TV money including tomorrows game has pushed it well over a million. <applause>

The best of luck to them, but if you've seen the playing surface at Rodney Parade <doh> then I think it'll be Man City that'll need the luck...<laugh>

They will need more than our support,it's Sunday league standard pitch, which should hold city to 6 IMO

Whats happened to the 4 to 5k missing seats then? I remember the c 40k capacity. Is it because they put the away fans in the West stand now?

Needs a couple of stands replacing and get the capacity to 50k.

Just to clarify what the difference in cost actually is/was between Gold and Silver membership.

Gold £40 ( included 3 x £5 match ticket discounts ) therefore actual cost if attending a minimum of 3 matches = £25
2nd priority on tickets for Gold members.

Silver membership £20 ( including 1 x £5 match ticket discount ) therefore actual cost = £15
3rd priority on tickets for Silver members.

Tickets for WBA went on sale this Monday and currently as of Friday at 9-15pm there are a smattering of tickets still available to Gold members. Ticket sales to Silver members will go on sale on Monday ( 7days after Gold ) should there be any left.

So far an extra £10 the benefits of Gold membership are clear to see...hardly ripping off the fans or miss selling are they.

The real question given those facts just stated is why anyone would choose to buy a Silver instead of Gold membership in the first place ?
