Good call Archers!

Cyc couldn't tip rubbish out of a bin!!....<RUN LIKE F***>

Onya Dex, you been watching on bin nights right?

As for the race. It's wide open. Any of the horses mentione above have a shout. The best two in the race are Dunaden and Americain, but with half the grandstand on each of their backs, they have the job ahead. Pundits are saying that this is the hardest race we've had in years, and maybe it is, but I don't think it has the class of last year. If so, then this brings the top two in with a better chance than normal years.

The race usually can be relied upon when it comes to very good horses putting in a really nice run for two or three years in a row. Again it lets the top two in, as well as Red Cadeaux, Maluckyday and Niwot. If I have to chop it down, then I can't split Dunaden and Red Cadeaux.

Bad form Bustino!

<laugh> Cyc...Looks wide open as you say....I'm a bit stumped tbh...30 mins to come to a conclusion...AS,like you,has had a word for RC but his price is tight even though he is a proven global traveller.

I sense a boil over!!

I can't see a bloody thing through my own smoke...sitting here with a big glass of berberana and a montecristo...time to open a window!

Top totty Cyc..no doubt about that.

Right..score e/w on Dunaden...he done the biz last year for me and never runs a bad'un.

Right guys, simply cannot be overlooking GREEN MOON for the Melbourne Cup. His comeback run after 400 odd days out was beautiful over 7f, and he then ran a couple of crackers to head to the Cox Plate as favourite. He was badly outpaced that day and kept on to make steady late headway. I think he is the one who will be steaming home late and if he has a trouble-free passage he is the horse for me. Nicely weighted- very live outsider.

16/1 thanks very much.

I do love a Montjeu as well when it comes to staying a trip run at good pace.

<cracker> Boom! Good morning Australia!!

Love the race and hopefully il be there in a few years!

How about that for a staying performance?
