Only Meyler's first game for us I know but I felt it was a shaky start. He needs to toughen up a bit for Championship football, was knocked off the ball far to easily. I like McKenna, you can never question his commitment and always puts lots of effort in. Evans has been solid so I hope he plays on Tuesday. Not sure I would play Prostwich for a full game but when he does come on he always looks like he can get himself in the right position to score, a bit like Barmby used to do. (I am sure there are loads of you can put this across much better then me but you get my drift)

Err Meyler.

Have you watched his performances for the club so far?

If you have and you still stand by that, then i really do believe you need your eyes testing. Looked a class below, his first instinct is backwards, his touch his poor, has put us in numerous poor positions, and he feels he should be protected by referees which i disagree entirely with.

Err i didnt bring him into the club. Steve Bruce did. Ask yourself why. Is he the answer? I dont know first time I've seen him, he only played 45 minutes and looked off the pace, but he will get better i hope. If he doesnt then Brucey will get someone else in for our problem position.

No he was crap along with Koren and Quinny, Burnley hustled and harried us out of it, Oli couldnt cope with it at all. But Oli can pass, which is why Brucey has been playing him this season.

Jeez what match where you watching Chazz. Most of his passes went straight to a Burnley player

I'm really disappointed with Meyler, he looked poor when he came on at Brum and he looked poor again today.

He regularly gave away possession, he fell over a lot and he just looked poor.

Meyler seemed to drop deeper than the entire back 4 at times today, I have no idea why.

He needs to start a game so we can really see, but if I was Corry Evans I'd be ****ed off beyond belief right now.

Agree with the OP. Olly is a pussy but can pass and Evans is the complete opposite, gets stuck in but can't kick a ball for ****. IMO McKenna is the middle man who gets stuck in but can actually play a bit too. I don't see why he isn't getting a chance really.
