For all your attempts to claim I'm quick to delete/cancel etc, you need to be aware that I get numerous requests from a variety of people asking for you to be banned, as many people see you as just boring and disruptive. I've resisted so far.
A Turkish journalist broke the story, yes. He's obviously got it from somewhere though. He's not just guessed and got lucky has he, it's come from Acun's team clearly.
Incidentally, our local media haven't reported it as having happened at all. They're reporting it as about to happen, which is exactly where we are, and they have verified that.
You're not the first person to incorrectly accuse them of reporting that it's already happened. Bizarre that a few people are so determined to give the local media stick that they'll make stuff up.

You have no idea what does or doesn't happen to other posters. It's generally done discretely in the background to save boring everyone else, but you have chosen to try to make yours public.
Have a debate by all means, that's what I'm trying to encourage, but if you keep going with tedious disruption and personal comments to other posters, you'll get a thread ban. You've had far more chances than most.
It's almost as if people don't realise Google Translate exists and that media reports in Turkey will be picked up by the British media. Although there has been a change of ownership, I bet the club PR folk haven't changed (yet) and maybe they haven't caught up to what is required with the new regime. Hence the apparent poor handling of the public messaging by the club.

Mike White and Baz Cooper both said that they've had it confirmed that he's about to be sacked. They said this on Sunday night after the story broke in Turkey. They obviously made some calls in the wake of it breaking, and got the green light from Acun or one of his team to confirm that McCann is going. They don't say "I've had it confirmed" if they haven't.
It's all a bit ****ty but it is what it is.
On the plus side for Grant, he'll walk away with a tidy pay off, he's going to have the pick of his next club, I'm almost certain they'll be a 'bigger' club than us, he'll earn more money than he currently does with us, and he'll have a bigger budget than he ever did with us.
I bet his agent, if he was one, has already had phone calls from clubs asking how quickly he wants to jump back in.
