Tees reminds me a bit of myself having the odd outburst after a few too many. My personality is a strange one it’s always all or nothing in everything I do I’m either fully immersed or totally uninterested. I’ll find something I want to do and spend 10 hours a day on it until I’ve bored myself. If I drink it’s never just one, if I gamble it’s never just a weekend acca. I really struggle with it sometimes I was always told in school I had ADHD but my dad just batted it off as a myth and said I was naughty. Went through a bit of a rough patch last year and after the death of someone close the hospice advised me to see a counsellor and she basically reiterated what the doctors told me as a kid that I have all of the tell-tale symptoms. It’s something I’ll have to learn to live with because I’d rather not be medicated but this kind of all in mentality is the worst thing about it for me. I struggle to attach emotions to things that normal people would and often go into quite depressive states for days/weeks which has been triggered by nothing at all and then outbursts would follow. I’ve got everything in the world I could want for but sometimes just feel like I can’t be arsed anymore.

Since Covid I’d drank pretty much every night after work had a few cans but often turned into anywhere up to 10-12 as I work from home so didn’t have to be anywhere next day. Played online with my mates most nights and they’d all tell you they could tell by my voice I was getting to a stage where I’d start getting a bit pissed and they knew an argument was coming over something totally trivial because as you can probably tell I’m never wrong :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Didn’t mean anything by it whatsoever and I never fell out with any of my mates over it we always laughed the next day but I realise now when I look back how much of a pain in the arse I must’ve been to live with. They just accept that it’s who I am but others wouldn’t be as forgiving and probably couldn’t be bothered with it.

Give this a listen marra. The author sounds a bit like you <laugh>. It's a decent read/listen.

Plenty thought he could have been given more time here last season, and not loaned out. Looked better than Hemir, thought he would have been the one to go on loan.
Think he could have done better with the finish last weekend, but was class today. That’s footy though. If a striker sticks away every chance, they won’t be playing for us long.
I think he scores that today!

That said, if it had been a Cardiff player taking the shot and Patterson making the save, we’d no doubt be lauding Patto!

"Mayenda not strong enough" - this lad talks some ****e <laugh><laugh>

Have watched a few of this guys videos but in truth his opinions are not too well balanced as he does not talk about age profiles and him saying success rate is too low but in truth the hit rate for signings is about 30 percent success rate and that is significantly reduce with a younger age profile.
Also there is no dispensation for the fact that over the last 3 years we have had to buy young to build not only a first team but also a development squad.
Short term vision with very little thought or context which if you give an opinion should be balanced and well thought out which this is not

This is for the most a man complaining about KS and not looking at the whole picture methodically.

Watched a bit of Wee Philly and his gang of mates stream last night, when I say a bit, like less than 5 minutes, because that's how long it took for them to have a go at Speakman and Kyril.

Things are going great man, everything is in order, I have no idea why the negative sentiment is so wide spread when things are going so good at the minute, a certain percentage of humans are just perpetual moaners I think.

Some people just cant help it, im def not getting carried away after only 2 games but there was a lot of positives in the summer before the games even started

The strips are class, the off the field stuff finally looks like its going in the right direction, we have appointed an actual manager and i like the signings weve made so far (obviously still a bit of work to do there)

Sounds very ADHD. Might be worth checking ADHD U.K. website. Even if you don’t want medication the formal diagnosis can be helpful for reasonable adjustments etc.
The meds are usually also fast acting and out of your system within a few hours, some people take them when they need to ( for example at work) but not on weekends. Doctors won’t recommend that but it’s pretty common in my experience. Sounds like you benefit from hyper focus whilst really interested in something which is part of ADHD that’s oven not thought about, it’s not all bad!

The off the field stuff was always going in the right direction since KLD took over. It’s as clear as night and day if we compare his management of the club to Donald and Methven, Short before them and dare I say it, Quinny and the Drumaville Consortium before that.
As supporters though we often demand instant gratification and when that’s not forthcoming we get a bit upset and start saying daft things. Thing is, I can guarantee that no-one on this site or over the road have ever ran a club the size of SAFC or even ran a club where their money is on the line, so it’s very easy to spend other people’s cash when you’re not accountable for it.

The docs told me I could go through a “right to choose assessment” iirc and that might fast track me but like everything else in life why do today what I can put off for 12 months :emoticon-0102-bigsm<doh>

I will speak to them about it because I think it’s started to affect my work a bit over the last year or so it’s just bloody telling myself to actually do it.

Or trauma related

Right to choose is the way to go but make sure your gp agrees to shared care otherwise you might have to pay full costs of any prescription. The adhd U.K. website is really helpful.

Too early to get carried away, but if we can avoid defeat away to Burnley and Shef U
134 points is possible

Based purely on mathematics Mayenda is already the 15/20 goal a season striker we need.

He's already on 2 goals with 44 games left to get the rest <laugh>

Seriously though, he's shown he can find space, finish, outrun defenders and bring the wide men into it.

He's also occupying defenders so Clarke and Roberts aren't doubled up on so much ...

... as things stand he's starting as CF on Saturday, even if Mendy/Whoever comes in it's currently his shirt.

Can’t drop the lad even if Mendy signs. Mendy has to earn that shirt.

Tap ins like the second aren’t tap ins of the player doesn’t make a smart run, loads of breaks like that end with balls going out for throw ins opposite side as nobody was in there.

Both goals were quality strikers goals, and him battering a CB the size of a small car was great to see.

He was loving life, a real ‘I’m ****ing here’ game for him.

Same with Browne if he is fit this weekend. No way will he drop Neil, Rigg and Jobe.
