I thought he had rubbished the possibility of Real when he was at Espanyol??? Were Espanyol that much better than Saints are that he wouldn't have considered it then but he would now? I also think that there is no way he would be able to impose his style on Real. He is very much a 'team' person and ballgreedy selfish gets like Ronaldo would be at loggerheads with suggestions of someone else suggesting how he should play and that maybe just sometimes he could pass to someone.

Laudrup has been a one-season wonder as a manager long before he came to Swansea. It's generally acknowledged (post-Brondby), and wasn't just revealed at Swansea. He generally lasts a year or less wherever he goes, so has actually done quite well at Swansea to last almost two!
