Day just saved a penalty

Didn't see that coming three goals a penalty save and three points and Northampton only drew up to 18th

Jonah’s having a whale of a time!

I’ve been saving that one up for months - he’s finally scored.

Well done son, let’s hope that’s the first of many.

Thought Jonah Ayunga was excellent for you this evening, scoring two well taken goals. The amusing thing is, that we were offered him by Havant & Waterlooville (a local club to Pompey) in the Summer, but declined the offer, and he then signed for Bristol Rovers instead ! We were poor this evening, our defence was totally off form. The players were probably worried about Kenny Jackett's forthcoming medical procedure ! :)

Good luck for the rest of the season. Hope you can avoid the dreaded drop.

That's the first time Ayunga and Hanlan have stared a league game together, and I think that pairing looks like a handful for anyone.

Just before Ayunga got the first goal I thought why is Daly on the bench this guy has to do something and in went the first and his goal and he just got BETTER. I always thought good signing for the future but not quite ready, thanks for proving me wrong Jonah and may your goal tally continue to grow

Great after match interview from Tommy Widdrington,

Following the game on I Follow live text the only thing reported are 5 free kicks up to 13 minutes played glad I didn't spend the money on a match day pass

I did today purchased the game on ifollow. McCormick his the bar from a free kick, I don't think he meant it. Hanlan hit the post and should have done better with it. We've had a few chances but not been good enough with the final ball.

We are playing 343 but Gillingham have forced our wing backs into fullbacks so mainly been playing 523. As soon as our defence got the ball, its route 1 where our 3 forwards are chasing for it and if our forwards get it, then great but we are relying on McCormick and Grant winning the 2nd balls, which is not happening that much. But that seems to be the tactics.

We have had the better chances and because of that I would have hoped we be 1 up. Unfortunately we are not and I expect Gillingham to come out and take the game to us.

Their manager Steve Evans has been booked

Akinde scores for Gills

We hit the post again and they go up the other end and score, normal service resumed
