It's going to be a tough game but one I am looking forward to. We've been indifferent since the win against them but this match is a totally different kettle of fish. Willian says he won't celebrate when he scores. I certainly will. Hopefully Soares on the bench and comes on.
You lot were tremendous yesterday. From minute 1 to minute 97. The footy Silva has Fulham playing is quality. You just miss that cutting edge up front.
The weekend games didn't go that well for us and we drop to 8th. The Sunderland cup game has been put back to Wednesday for Live TV. Wonder what starting line up will be put out by Silva. Might ring the changes as we play Forest on Saturday and they will have all week to recover from their game today (Sunday) Not sure if our new signing are allowed to play in the replay, but it would be a good time to give them a run out if fit. I'd like to see Mitro play and get back to his best. Sunderland were more unsettled at the back when he came on in the home game.
I'd like us to put a strong side out against Sunderland. If we win we play Leeds at home who will be concentrating on the league. We have a good chance of having a good FA Cup run. It's going to be tough, 30K tickets sold, under the lights, on TV - it might not look pretty.
I should not have doubted. Pleased for the win. Good to see Harris start but I think it proved he has a bit of work to do to get in the side, only 17 so the experience will help him. Good on the Fulham fans that went, dedication. We picked up injuries to Cairney and Reed. Hopefully will not be too bad.
Looks Like Reed has recovered but Cairney is out. Forest is going to be a tough game, they have picked up recently and we have slumped a bit in the last few games all be against Newcastle & Spurs. Could be a chance to play Sasa Kukic at some point if Reed is not 100%. BDCR or Solomon on the right is the only debate from the normal starting XI.
Really enjoyed this game against Forest. At times we were absolutely superb. Willian, what a player - Ream, fantastic. Overall a great team performance. It was a real game where I did wonder if we would be punished for not capitalising on our 1st half great performance where we should have scored more. Saw very briefly Kukic who looked a strong player and Cedric who we know all about. I really enjoyed the game. What a joy to be a Fulham fan atm.
A great win yesterday, and it could have been more. We even got a cheer at the King Power Stadium, they don't seem to like Forest
Brighton is going to be a tough game to get through, but if we do take 3 points it will help us in the chase for the European place and will cement us in the Premier for next season.
IF!, we managed to get into Europe, it may help us fend off the vultures who will look to take some of our team away in the summer. But, I'm not sure Europe is something we can cope with, next season...........
Brighton 0 - 1 Fulham, this is getting seriously scary........... Brilliant finish from Manor, but we were out played for most of the game. It's about time something went in our favour, albeit, the ref seemed to book our players without great cause.
It was a great away day, mostly due to how the game ended! It's a shame that de Zerbi's post match comments were so ill-informed and petty, but it's nice to be on the right side of one of these games for a change. It's concerning that Mitrovic is walking wounded though, that could derail our remarkable run.
Bit of a stuttering first half that Wolves should have taken advantage, but Fulham ground their way back with the Half time subs. Another curler from Solomon cutting in from the left and curling it into the right corner and Fulham could have stolen all the points if Vinicius header hadn't been saved. Getting only the 1 point leaves an opening for teams to overtake us if they win their games in hand.
Indeed, Super Bri, but points are in the bag as they say. Just one thing, we are 8pts ahead of the Dark Side, and they have only 1 game in hand.
The start of the Brentford game didn't go well, with the deflected goal. But the Solomon goal got us level for HT. Both teams should have been down to 10 men, but the Ref was having a mare. and that continued with the soft penalty he gave, Brentford got momentum from that and went 3-1 up with sloppy defending, but Vinicius scored a late late second too late. Am Hoping Tete wasn't injured as sub Soares is loan tied for the Arsenal game.
The inconsistency of referee decisions is a real problem. Compair Willian's drive and booking against Fernandes antics in every game and lack of bookings....... In our last game, the ref seemed to have a grudge against us, yellow cards dished out and free kicks where none were due. Brentford had none, albeit they were more aggressive than ourselves. Every week we have players getting soft bookings, yet our opponents are better treated, especially the top six. Lukic's was fortunate not to see red, but the first yellow was an honest challenge for the ball, a fraction late, perhaps that's what saved him. Toney should have been sent off, but not even a yellow and therefore no VAR review, really! Hopefully we will get the rub of the green, we can't play Arsenal and the ref on Sunday.
