I think Bruce will want out of Hull when he realises it's so similar to Sunderland. Impatient, pessimistic club with fans that can never, ever be pleased.

I would think that after the promotion euphoria had settled down then Steve Bruce would have been given improved contract.

but the most interesting thing is with the exception of Moses(who cost £2.5m and was sold for £9m), all the other big money player sales were players who were at the club when Martinez took over.

So let me guess this straight - do you mean he sold players for big money who he didnt sign? That surely detracts from his record then, as he's cashing in on other manager's talent spotting whilst his own has been comparitively shaky. Or am I reading it wrong?

I was surprised that of the £43m that they've raised in the past four years, only a quarter of it was on Martinez signings and almost all of that was on the Moses sale.

And a few utter ****s. Like you for example.

I'm not pessimistic at all. Infact, I'm one of the most unbiased fans you'll find, I wont sit there overhyping our players but I wont slate them for ridiculous reasons (Marney, Lewis, even Ashbee at one point). To be fair though, I have no intention to be as emotionally invested in a team as some people do. I don't enjoy living in this City, only came back for family reasons and as I said above, most people from Hull are very negative and abusive which makes it an unpleasant place to live.

Contracts don't mean much now in terms of keeping players/staff, it just means if he does leave we'll get more compensation for him. The fact the club was boo'ed off the pitch when in 2nd position wont be easily forgotten.
