Off Topic MARTINEZ COUNTDOWN

Way i see it... Sunderland to beat chelsea. Sunderland have been brilliant and are very strong at home. Sunderland are chelseas bogey team. Chelsea haven't been in good form. Chelsea are on the beach. Sunderland will make it a physical game

Sunderland to beat Everton. Again Sunderland solid at home. Everton players on the beach and obviously martinez has lost the dressing room. Can't see anything but sunderland win

Away to Watford. Draw, sunderland aren't great away from home but watford have been dire recently. They struggled to beat this pathetic villa side!

are any of these on tv?

It seems if cheslea are on tv they turn up :bandit:

I agree with you but I think sunderland are in must win mode now and defoe is their only threat so much depends on that.

Sunderland only need 2 wins and a draw even if Newcastle win both games, due to the GD.

If Newcastle only get 4 points, then a win and 2 draws would be enough.

It's advantage the Mackems as it stands I think.

Rafa Bluenitez?

Rafa Benitez among names being considered by Everton should Newcastle be relegated as Toffees eye replacement for Roberto Martinez

The meltdown over the park would be an 11 on the Richter Scale.<laugh>
I can't see that one happening.

His level of acceptance amongst many Blues would be zero.

Sounds like his people flying a kite in case the Toon go down to me.

not sure if its on the tele. Chelsea aren't up for fights nowadays against low battling teams. Can't see hazard turning it on either as biscan mentions. Hazards a liability when theres no space, sure he can keep ball but he finds it hard to go past players if they dont dive in. Also slows play down too much i reckon he's pretty similar to lallana in that respect. Wish he had a brain as he'd be amazing.

Also our back line is so slow.

If Rafa becomes boss I will agree with everything Tobes ever put on here

LFC game is on tv.. you'll bother against that lowly battling team.

Sunderland and newkie play at 3pm.

Only... You're asking teams that have barely won all season to win 66% of their remaining games.

T can be done sure, but you guys are decent enough away from home and Chelsea seem to have turned t on a bit towards end of the season.

Watford away is never easy either.

Sunderland have game in hand but Newcastle have points on the board.

Norwich are down

Newcastle are far from certs to beat Spurs. Even with their title challenge over they'll still probably need a result to secure 2nd.

Ok Villa should be a gimme, but anything more than a point at home to Spuds is unlikely imo, as they're pretty ****e, hence their current position.

That would give them 37.

Meaning Sunderland would need to beat us and draw the other 2 to stay up.

It'll go right to the wire, but I think Sunderland have the slight advantage as it's in their hands.

I think they'll stay up with 37 but it could easily go another way to be fair. Should be exciting watching for a neutral though.

when it comes down to win or die the past 8 months of games mean nothing.

if we'd played newkie a month beofre we did and were 2-0 up we'd have won 4-0. but they could not give up and got 2-2

seems rather silly to keep him on to give walkovers to sunderland and leicester and affect both the relegation and title races.

If Norwich had needed a win in last game to survive they'd have been ****ed off getting rid of him just before their game lol

Yep. It did the integrity of the league and our club no favours at all.

We should have shot him before the SF imo.
