No reason to not get it done and give new guy every bit of time to get organised for next year... should be caretaker now and new guy contracted asap.

No?

I agree but there may be some review at seasons end clauses etc which may make the break easier? Only a guess mind as I'm gobsmacked he's still at his desk tbh??
The season is pretty much done only a handful of games left so as Tobes says could very well be nailed on then? Mind that's not to say it's definitely going to happen lol

I would say the faster the guy they've lined up gets his feet under desk and maybe even has 2/3 weeks to judge some of them that's what you want.

Anyway..... we will see if they really have someone lined up.

I think thats what should happen...Makes me believe nobody is lined up yet tbh as he would be gone?

Not worth it IMO, just a few weeks and this season is tainted by Martinez's tactics and failure

At this point a clean break and fresh start in preseason is better IMO

Klopp had time to start working on things and learning, Everton's new guy is just going to turn up to a league on holiday, and probably start with some losses that won't be his fault

No I don't agree

4 weeks training should tell a guy all he needs to know to make a summer transfer plan.

See all the resources at all levels and make plans.

Come in and turn up july 1 and I know exactly how august league matches will go.

3 weeks, which includes having to play 3 games in 9 days

Rumour is he is gone, told at a meeting at a hotel in Haydock today. Kenwright is supposed to be meeting his replacement tonight. If so it suggests he was a goner whether EFC reached the FA Cup final or not.

To be seeing his replacement tonight means the new manager must be out of work. Moyes, Rogers or Neville?

Correct. He was toast whatever happened in the Cup. The decision was taken a few weeks ago. Moshiri wants a very high profile manager to come in. Moyes, Rodgers et al, are not on the agenda.

I saw that rumour yesterday, which would have been too early and suggests it was BS

Klopp? He's the only manager who would cause me to "choke"

Who do your sources say?
Only that it'll be a manager of the highest calibre and profile. That's been the brief since the decision to axe him was taken.

They want to bring in a 'name' who's capable of attracting the level of player that we need if we're going to move up a level. It therefore won't be any of the lazy suggestions like Moyes, or an up and coming like Howe.
