I think it's 50/50. In my opinion no, he clearly wins the ball but he does wrap his other leg round the back afterwards so some say it's a scissor tackle and a pen. If its your defender you prob say no, if you're attacking you prob say yes.

Jagielka should have given away a pen and red card for his handball on the line though. Can't blame red for missing that as ha dno view of it so you guys got lucky there

Fosu-Mesnsah one was very harsh, it was a great tackle. Jagielka one would have been even harsher, yes it hit his arm but his hand was on the ground from trying to block the shot, completely unintentional.

From the angle the referee had, yes.

Slow motion replies (different angles) suggest the defender got the ball before touching the man but it was very close and the defender made a scissor motion with his legs. I'd agree with Biscan saying it was 50:50

He didn't just miss it, he stroked it as pathetically straight towards De Gea that there was no choice but to save it. So I don't blame not letting Baines take another against De Gea again.

You'd think such an allegedly good striker could score a penalty, then again he had plenty of evidence of missed chances during the game he probably could have dumped Lukaku from pen duty at half time.

Should have put Stones on pen duty on the basis that he must be good at SOMETHING if not defending.

 

He got a touch to the ball, but he did chop the player down doing so. Penalty in my opinion.
