If you scout around the Leeds forums you will find a massive Biesla fan base, and in the media too, but on here its probably 50/50 and that worries me because this board in the main has a more intelligent membership than the sheep forums.

Whatever happens Im 100% sure we will have a high end manager in the next few days. Could be UK or overseas but the seed has been planted and George from Scarboro Taps wont cut it any more
Take away the Millwall contributors and your intelligence base falls way below acceptable margins.

In typical Leeds fashion, who is to say it won't all fall apart before the guy signs anyhow! Just reading that his assistant coach has turned down the opportunity to join him in England.

Deep down you know this guy is too unpredictable and too volatile given our set up and the pressures...
It wont work although it might be a blast while he is here..

The more I learn the more I fear he wont come and we are only wasting time in getting on appointing a moere stable proper manager. PART OF ME THINKS WE ARE BEING SPUN AGAIN!

Probably.........<wah>

If he doesn't come though, it kind of puts AR in a difficult spot IMO. If it's true reading between the lines that the 49ers involvement is demanding more high profile Manager/players as part of the requirements for their investment, then he can't just revert to type and go out and get a nobody again or he will become a laughing stock. So maybe it's not all bad if the Argentinean guy doesn't come anyhow, we will still get a half decent manager in charge.

100% agreed..

That fall back position would be much my preferred option. its always a risk taking on a new coach. But one like Mick McCarthy would be much more likely to succeed IMO and might well insist on Orta either taking a back seat and only signing the players the coach identifies or fecking off altogether.

The last thing our circus needs is another potential clown.

Ah s***, I have to agree with you.<yikes>

Love the idea of Bielsa coming and succeeding, but fear it's more likely we'd be left in the lurch.

My alternative preferences in order:

Ranieri
Scum Bruce
Big Mick

<wah>

Jan Van Winckel claiming he has been approached by Bielsa to be his number two at Leeds

This is getting stupid. Either get the deal done or move on.. The speculation and "leaks" are a sign of a badly run club.
For a spin doctor rad doesn't seem very good at projecting an on message and professional organization...

I was wondering earlier what plan B was. I don’t personally believe the delay is anything to do with a work permit...
