I thought he was given an offer that needed negotiating on.
He said he couldn't make sense of it, and was hoping Richard Murray would be able to help him out. Apparently Murray couldn't understand it either. He hoped the owner would come back with a proper contract. He's still waiting...................................................................

I think he'll get an offer of sorts. But he'll get better ones from elsewhere. I actually think he's happy with us, so it depends to what level RD is prepared to pi$$ him about. If the offer is derisory, he'll move on without looking back.

I get that, but strictly speaking he has been offered a contract.

Promotion=Bowyer staying.

Defeat and he's on his toes.

I fear he probably won't be staying either way.

Duchatelet doesn't want Charlton to win promotion.
For him it just means higher expectations from fans, higher wages expected by players and staff, and countless other higher costs.
Not that any of those expectations will be met.
It has already been made clear that the budget will be cut again next season regardless of what league we are in.
And any new players will be coming from L1 / L2 / non-league or the academy.

I cannot believe that Lee Bowyer won't be offered a decent deal by another Club during the summer. One that is willing to reward success, and one that actually wants success.

Fair post tbh mate.

Nathan Jones - 3 wins in 22 as Stoke manager.

The Stoke fans don’t seem very happy with him.

“Little fist bumping Welsh n*nce” was one of the nicer comments about him on Stoke twitter last night <whistle>

Talking to a group of Stoke fans in the Rose of Denmark pre-game they referred to Jones as "God" with rolling of the eyes. Maybe his success at Luton went to his head; when he went to Stoke he was asked how long it would take him to achieve success, he replied that it depends how long it takes the players to get used to his methods, which seemed the wrong approach.

Nathan’s interview after the game yesterday was David Brent-like.

If he’s repeating that stuff in the dressing room, you can imagine what the players are thinking.

Excellent coach is Nathan Jones, did wonders for our U23s and let us nor forget Luton. Was very sorry to see him leave us. Was hoping he would be a Charlton manager.

Reactions: Beware of the virus
Could be something going wrong at Killie. Last week there was speculation that the much-improved second half performance against the Gers was brought about by Alex Dyer giving the team talk, this week Alessio had a dig at the players after the loss to Hamilton. Alessio is used to a different type of player, having been assistant manager at Chelsea, Italy and Juventus, and has not been manager. Could be Alex Dyer, who is very popular in Kilmarnock, will get a crack at the job.

Any manager who loses to Hamilton should receive a lifetime ban from football.
