Having 12 managers in 12 seasons is a plainly stupid policy, even if it did 'work' temporarily.
Eventually you're going to run out of gung-ho idiots who think they can buck the odds.
No serious manager will even consider the Watford gig surely. So they'll just get another journeyman who thinks he's special.
Why should the players there listen to anything a new manager says to them in the dressing room?

Scotland have been garbage under a series of managers, and they are still garbage after 3 games under Clarke. Kilmarnock, on the other hand are garbage without Clarke, plastic pitch or no, so I can't agree with your point. The plastic pitch has transformed Kilmarnock's finances, since they are able to let it out for a variety of uses. Northern Ireland do OK as well considering their resources. The commentators last night were talking about a lack of passion in Scotland's play, and how much harder the Belgians were working off the ball, so there's your answer.
