I think we're one of the most reliable clubs when it comes to fans commenting on a player once they've left. TWS generally slag anyone who leaves, they say he was never good enough and they're glad he's gone. I don't think we do that at all, whenever a player has left us, I've always been reasonably happy that the responses that we've posted to fans of other clubs have been honest and relatively accurate. I was sad to see Walters go, same with Forster, Elliot and several other players and I said so to the fans of the clubs they went too, as did many other posters(I've never seen the likes of Greenie, Ash, Burgess, Mouyokolo, Myhill, Allsopp or many others get anything but praise). Even players like Duke, Garcia or Kilbane, who many think aren't good enough, still get praise for being committed players. If, on the other hand, they were considered to be slackers, or poor players, then they're often slagged off, but that's a genuine opinion, rather than being sour grapes. As for Maltby, it's a shame when anyone loses their job, but none of us really know him, or how competent he was, so I suspect barely anyone cares.
