Maja update

I'm more confused than ever. Ryan Noble failed at first team level. Josh Maja excelled. I honestly have no idea what point you're trying to make.

 

Yeah. The last few years has really shown us that the time to judge our young lads is when they're out on loan cutting it in competitive football.

Imagine he bangs one in against PSG. Nobody would question his decision then

 

Wouldn't be surprising would it, those quick turns and finishes to the bottom corner of his will work against anyone in the world.

To be fair mate Grigg banged one in against Citih and it never made him a PL striker. One swallow doesn't make a summer.

I'll stop questioning the decision once I see how he develops given that's what my questioning was based on.

Mind you wouldn't say no to him hitting the ground running. Especially if some of his clauses can be triggered early with some quick form

Yeah agree again, mate. I overdone it with that. I think it's more me wanting him to be successful.

 

So I watched, he didn’t get on.

They were pretty poor but made a few chances, I could see him making an impact there. PSG have 6 out of their first 11 injured at minute, which likely made Bordeaux look competitive.

 

Well aye, money in our back burner if he is. we need every penny we can get.

Thanks Hefty, sounds like he did OK.

 

Only one attempt in 67 minutes....

Difficult to tell as don't know what his service was like, but that's not a great stat as he was leading the line.

 

Won and he started. Good on the lad.

Bitterness is for failures. The gaffer said he didn’t know about him, 3 weeks on he’s first XI. Credit to the lad.

 

He looks happy anyway.
