Tbh I wanted him to stay. Good utility player who caused us no problems in his 12 years here. However, he's gone now and that's the end if it.

He was part of the problem here not the solution and was a mainstay of a midfield void of pace, creativity and goals which has led to 3 poor seasons of struggle.we needed a clear out and are 90% down that with the end of ginger Jack.

I want Gus to concentrate on bringing some quality pact midfielders in to take us out of the annual bottom relegation stakes. It now transpires that devious black and white Jack has been planning this for some time and stalling the clubs advance s for 12 months.

His punishment will be to turn out for the filth next season for a despised manager and even more despised owner. Let's see how long it takes for the Geordie's to remember those derby day celebrations by ginger Jack and the after match taunts of 0-3 salutes onfacebook eh? Gus needs to act quickly and recruit better and ginge will be forgotten quicker than a Geordie slag drops her Bigg Market knickerson a Saturday night.

Spot on, it's Sunderland own fault in my eyes. if we offered him what he wanted last year I would say Colback would of signed a new deal. I bet Sunderland only offered him what he wanted when Sunderland stayed up & that was to late in his eyes.

Hopefully we buy a class midfield & we can forget about him but I got a bad feeling telling me Cattermole, Larsson & Bridcock will be our midfield 3 for next season.

Come on Short spend some ****ing money.

According to the club we offered him what he asked for but he refused to sign until we were assured of PL survival - then, once we were assured, he went back on his word and refused to discuss his contract - which, to me, makes him and his advisors a bunch of two faced bastards which I want nothing to do with.

His name is Bridcutt by the way

its a done deal, he's gone over to the dark side now so build a bridge and get over it, the ginger tw*t!!
I am gonna chuck a tenner on him to score against us in the derby as its bound to happen!!

I'm willing to bet that Catts gets sent off snapping his legs prior to him getting near our goal.

As far as I am concerned JC gave 100% every game. What bothers me is the amateurish way our club messed him about. He is a 25k player nothing more but I firmly believe the club insulted him with a derisory offer when you consider what Seb, Vaughan and Gards were on. He is a good versatile squad player imo.

We offered him a contract, but if it's true that you are paying him 40k a week, then I'm ****ing delighted we didn't match it.

40k a week for 6 ****ing years? Somebody didn't learn from Pardew's 8 year affair.

It's probably true and you're right, shocking business from us. Don't blame Colback.

He's started getting contract offers when MoN was in charge.

Do we have any idea if they were actually real offers or just derisory to make the club look like they were doing something?

You just want to believe that .......... in reality the buying club isn't the issue in that statement, something you ignore to build your argument.

BTW, stop pretending you'll be booing Colback before every match, you know it won't happen, you're just puffing yourself up.

How is saying you're going to boo someone "puffing yourself up" you big saddo? <laugh> You actually thinkt hat when you boo someone you're being a hard man <laugh> Pitiful

The craas are jumping with delight at signing Colback. I'm genuinely unmoved. Shows who's skin has really been got under with the last 5 derby results.

As a decent squad player I'd have preferred him to stay but I'll get over him leaving in a blink of the eye. If he is their main summer signing, then I'll piss myself. I think he's very ordinary in reality but a good squad player nevertheless.

We move in now to our summer recruitment and we will see their fans commentary about Ginger Jack as the season unfolds.

Can you EVER make a post without putting in a line of fantasy/lies just to give more weight to your comments?

You have to read this post by a mag... Henderson ffs.

Yeah, he's ours mostly as part of their attempt to unleash their inner ashley lol! I can't believe their fans saying he's no good now that he's gone. You ask a neutral and they'll tell you he's better than cleverly and henderson. I mean he was one of the main reasons they stayed up this past season FFS!!

Of course there was, we met his demands in January but he wanted to wait till we were safe before he committed only he never returned to the table.

This is just my opinion this but I think it's his been his intention to run his contract down for a long long time. All the little **** had to do was tell the truth about his intentions, we could have loaned him out and shifted his wages off the books and got a loan fee for last season. Little unethical spineless mag.
