Howe has done nothing particularly impressive.
He got a few promotions with Bournemouth. Fair enough but many others have done the same. He left them and flopped at Burnley. He spent a fair old wedge on players at Bournemouth in his second stint and he got them relegated. He has done okay up there, but spent nearly £400m and only followed Bruce, who was about finished then.
And of course he is also an absolutely appalling hypocrite.

They do. They also so want to be loved. And to be fair, under Keegan and a bit under Robson, they were well liked around the country. I heard his a lot myself.
But I also heard it change, first to boredom, then contempt at the entitlement . It's a lot worse than that now. Everyone, apart from paid gobshites, seems to loathe them.

A Sheff Wed supporter was convicted for mocking Sunderland.
So two 'grown men' think it's hilarious banter to make a joke, about people being hostile scum, so poor it's barely fit for a fan forum. If they'd made it about Jews, Blacks or Gays there'd be outrage. Just because someone says their words are 'just harmless banter' doesn't make it so ...

I'd hope people will contact their local MP as well, it's pathetic tbh.
Banter between the towns has gone on for decades and there's nowt wrong with that but this isn't even humour tbh. If 'banter' is an excuse for anything I could say I don't believe the rumours about Dec, being worse than Saville, and colleagues covering for him because they're scared he'll put the nut on them with his enormous forehead
If the police respond favourably I'll set up a crowd funding page and engage a Sunderland solicitor. I'd give them the opportunity to apologise of course, not much to ask.
