Aye mate. I'm in absolutely no doubt that had Allardyce stayed with us we'd have moved away from the annual relegation battles and started to push further up the table.

I've just stuck a few quid on the exchange for the Chiefs to win the Superbowl in Feb, btw. It'll come down to them and the Packers, imo.
Not sure about the Chiefs mate, been a bit up and down this year and Mahomes isn't firing on all cylinders but I think the AFC is wide open again atm with Chiefs, Bills and Patriots even moving themselves back into a position to contend. I do like the Pack and Cardinals in NFC but if I was to put money on, I think I'd go Green Bay. If Pats do Bills this weekend, I'll go for another Chiefs-Pats AFC Championship with the NFC being Packers and Cards.

Good luck with your bet though lol.

I was at the Chelsea match but missed the Everton one for work. My Lord though that Chelsea atmosphere was one of the best I've witnessed in the SoL, I'd maybe go as far to say better than most of the derby games I've been to... I think that was the point where every SAFC fan thought we'd cracked it, Allardyce had us finally playing well, good form and on the verge of sending the scum down! And then Moyes happened <doh>
It was, especially in the second half. Goosebumps thinking about Defoe hitting the net. Bodies all over the place.

I had doubt that he would have stayed, he sounded likenhe had enough in his interviews. I was hoping at the time that it was all part of a ploy to get some transfer funds out of Short. But I think if Short didn't blink he would have walked.

Wouldn't it be class if there really was a conspiracy to relegate the mags?

I mean if everybody was in on it. Refs, the FA, players of other teams, players of their team, the lot.

It would be just like when the moon landings were faked, only much, much better :emoticon-0100-smile
If Carlsberg did conspiracy theories... NHS England would declare a "Code Black" for Wearside <cheers>

When you write it down it makes you wonder how anyone could actually believe if for a second.

The Mags absolutely berate their own players but claim they'd be winning games without this huge conspiracy ...

... they really have lost the plot.
