And just to round off a great day, Brighton beat Southampton to go a point above Newcastle, who drop down to 17th place.

Some interesting games this weekend.
They will probably just scrape through before the end of season.

Hopefully not, I bet there's a few Brighton fans on here this weekend :D

I've got a bit of a soft spot for Brighton, first result I look for other than any that has a bearing on us.
When I left college in 1984, my first job was in the Old Ship Hotel in Brighton. I worked split shifts, finish at 2.30pm, back in at 6.00pm, so every other Saturday used to go to their home games at the Goldstone ground.
I came back home in june 85, but went down in 86 (lost 3-1 i think, sure Venison scored on og) and 87 (think we won 3-0).
Definately be one here cheering Brighton...Ha'way the Seagulls.
