Just spoke to a mate who's a Mag. He reckons ASM will be 8/10 weeks at best. Almiron isn't expected back. Looks like Andy Carroll to the rescue.
If they go down both of those two will be away. Almiron's agent has already been dropping hints about him moving to Spain. Let's hope Fulham make them even more uncomfortable this afternoon!
I don't get this Graham Jones stuff. They're going on like he's some sort of genius and attributing any positives to him over Bruce. But can you Imagine the outrage if he'd got the job when Rafa left?
Been working with a Mag from Warlsend for the last month. Said to him "King Rafa finished 10th in his last season and was a genius. Bruce finished 10th last season and is a cabbage heed. Can you tell me the difference?" He said "I don't know what it is but Rafa's just got something about him."
It’s all because he has achieved things with other clubs, they honestly believe being successful at other clubs makes him special to them. Thick as **** the lot of them.
should have lost it, saved that off his shoulder...at least they seem to have stopped being given penalties to win.
I think they'll survive in the prem by the skin of their teeth, but whilst this dark shadow of a possible takeover looms they're stuck in limbo. I doubt if fat Mike will spend in the summer if he expects to sell up, and if if Brucey gets the push no decent manager will take it on if the future is uncertain. Doubt if Rafa would even consider a return under Ashley, and I think Amanda now has enough on her plate without trying to resurrect the Saudi interest. So I can see another uncertain season with Bruce in charge, no substantial spending spree, and players like ASM starting to engineer a move away. Its absolutely fantastic to watch.
I thought that until recently tbh. However, Fulham have goals in them now, despite the Palace game, whereas Newcastle are struggling for forwards. It looks like being Murphy crossing for Carroll as the main option with Dwight Gayle and Joelinton in the mix somewhere. I'm happy for Newcastle to stay up but I'd love it to go to the last day at Fulham. The ideal scenario would be that both could stay up with a draw and watching them try to avoid sanctions ... ... or a 'winner takes all' and Newcastle needing to win by three clear goals
I love the last one, particularly if they won 2 - 0 and had a last minute 3rd chalked off by VAR.... Relegated by VAR....
If that’s true I will do a jig in delight whilst punching the air shouting ‘get down you black and white bastards’.
But with added VAR! The Mags appealing for offside but VAR shows he's onside.... The whole thing would make them self combust!
Proposed to Marge in Eze village (a truly magical pace) before driving down into Monte Carlo to have a celebratory glass of wine in the cafe adjacent to the Casino. An expensive glass of wine but the ambience well impressed my Fiancé. Happy Days. Also enjoyed the best Cassoullet you can get anywhere in the world at Carcasonne a couple of years ago. Inside the walls of Carcasonne is a must visit place. Bart
