My think if 2 people have 2 votes and no lunch has 5 that it still goes to coin toss for thhe 2 people.... Only if everyone votes no lynch does nothing happen... I think?

That renders No lynch pointless then.
May aswell just not submit a vote if it works like that.
I thought No lynch was voting to not lynch someone, not just that you personally are abstaining from the vote.

That's not how I ran it in the previous game, but MITO can clarify.
If people vote no lynch that is something they decide on. For me, a load of innocent people aren't going to stand by while someone tries to lynch somebody with just 1 or two votes when 5 don't want a lynch.
I'm not sure. But with no lynch, both sides have opportunities to put their actions to use. I'm not sure of the possible outcomes but if both sides use all their abilities you can get far more information on the second day with reports, the newspaper, witnesses, etc.
I'm not following astro's strategy so I don't really care if it contradicts it haha. Interesting to see you've jumped on the first person to put forth a legible theory against the mafia
hi, here is the clarification.
there is no compulsion on the town to lynch which means no lynch is an option here.
simply majority rule is in effect which means if the majority vote no lynch there is no lynch.

Well, if we don't lynch anyone tonight it means the mafia money pot is growing and we are no closer to figuring things out, mafia can just sit back and do nothing, not sure how much we can gain from that strategy. Though I suppose the journalist might then have some info for us?

The point isn't that you magically guess the right people but that you have a list to start from. Then we see movement. If you leave it too late everything goes to **** anyway though.
