I would be happy with this. Right or wrong, at least we would know any decision made would be made without Mafia influence. Cant really ask for much more than that on Day 1 to be honest.

as long s there is more than one person selected. we know from game 3 putting a few up in a tie is better.

sky has a 4/15 chance of picking a mafia. if he picks 4 at least he's got a better chance.

AFC is quieter this game then any other game. Just an observation. Doesn't mean guilt.

FYI.

I did a follow up on this lead. AFC hasn't been posting ANYWHERE since last posting on here. So being quiet I think is just a result of not being online.

yes you may change as many times as you wish. the theory is however the later you do it or have no good reason you look suspicious

The randomness depends on Sky. He could use a number generator to pick the names, he could just pick names. Sure, it could be suggest that the latter wouldn't be entirely innocent as he could just pick the names but that doesn't make it selective since Sky doesn't know who is who. Therefore, its still random. The fact is, we do know the Mafia wouldn't have had a say and anyone not falling in line shows a sign of guilt (apart from possibly Biscan if he's been forced).

Obviously if Sky just uses a random number generator or whatever, then yes, it should be random.

I would say that IBWT should stick with Sky for now. The only way Sky will be in danger of lynching is if someone else joins in in voting for him, which should be a death wish for them. Assuming IBWT has been coerced, then better for him to vote Sky and stay alive for now (based on the rules we know) than for him to switch and (unnecessarily) die.

Yes, you can change votes any amount of times up until Astro calls night.


/ Changing votes last minute without a damn good reason is usually only done by mafia though... so if you change your vote with 2 minutes to go prepare to be on the receiving end of votes tomorrow. Best for town that you get your final vote in before the final hour... unless there is a late reason to change your vote such as mafia look to be moving to rig the vote, in which case you may want to try to counteract them.

There are too many people being quiet! I never know whether thats a sign of guilt or not to be honest. Yeah they don't run the risk of saying anything silly and putting their foot in it if they are Mafia, but it also means a) They dont get the chance to manipulate votes and b) By trying not to draw attention to themselves they inadvertently do the exact opposite by keeping Shtum, so that wouldn't really help them either.

why is it a reaction

1. you said first anyone not doing what you say is guilty.

I'm willing to agree that if town can't coordinate or agree a strategy that Sky, as a known innocent, would be a good arbitrator.

However, he doesn't know more than the rest of us... and indeed after tonight will know less than the Investigator and the Journalist. As known innocent though- he should be considered to have a leadership role amongst the town (assuming he appears and makes rational decisions)- we shouldn't blindly follow him if he isn't paying much attention to what is going on... and let's face it after 9 pages (of 40 posts per page) comments already- he's going to skim through what's been posted (best case scenario) when he appears.

Being quiet is not by itself "guilty". Acting differently is a way to spot people who are guilty.

Someone who is usually quiet becoming talkative can be as much a sign of guilt as someone who is usually talkative becoming quiet. Sometimes on other forums they have "anonymous" games where people sign in with alternate aliases for the game so that you can't tell who is who- and go off previous game performances.

We have the advantage here of having played two or three games with most of the people already- so look for people acting differently without a good reason. Either talking more... or talking less. (or being less helpful than normal).

Thing is he dosent know which way i will throw my vote do i stick with acf or change it back to Gerrez.....it's odds on one of them probably acf will throw his vote at a minute to eight....don't trust either of them....acf takes the game very seriously and manipulates everything...Gerrez is just a ducker and diver and survives by the skin of his teeth. Because I'm rattling them....i know i will be top of the list again...it's how it work last time and watch and 8pm tonight Valley the same will happen again.....so predictable the two of them

Astro said there are "Unexpected twists" - his description of the game rules said that they are "not the complete rules". There could be some other mechanism at play. We talked about silent votes a little in previous Mafia discussion threads. We did a little on the last one too... it is possible that there is a role with a silent vote- if Mafia, for example had a silent vote they could bring Sky in to a tie with them.
