He's a funny old player though. Reminds me of Crouch. Only 15 goals in 59 apps for FC Koln, but 42 goals in 89 apps for the Germany national team. Like Crouch, he's far better playing in his national team, for some reason.

I was just thinking the same thing, but was liking him more to Klosse, seems to excel for Germany, but club form doesnt look anywhere near that, I dont watch that much German Football though so maybe they play him more on the wing there than a striker/off the striker like he seems to do for Germany.

Hmm a left winger nobody has really mentioned although to be fair he seems way out of our league but if this is true and Bruce pulls this off then it would definately be the best signing so far and the magic number 10.

mmmmm I know we are off to Germany on Friday but I havnt seen or heard this yet. Will believe it when I see it!!!
