I did clarify that I think his acting up is not a compulsion but I thought the actual biting was, when annoyed he feels compelled to bite someone rather than the conventional aggression, also I did say i was speculating :D

As for agreeing with some of my points, well, we all have our moments of weakness <laugh>

Gotta agree with Tobes<yikes> Maradonna, not the best man to have your back in this scenario <laugh>

Could only be worse if he supported Ferdinand after he avoided a drug test.

    And still no rep? <doh>

The victim isnt as outraged as some rival fans. He thinks the punishment is excessive and didnt warrant that, thats the point. His is the most important opinion in all of this

    Happens.

Even families of murder victims can state they think the punishment handed to the murderer is harsh.

    Doesnt mean its not deserved.

Yep. FIFA have had to make a policy and administration on the hoof to satisfy the needs of the English press, as that is the only explanation for the domestic ban. That said, given his number of chances and rehabs and counsellings and **** knows what in the past, he does deserve it, but I am reminded of the FA ten-game ban after the Ivanovic thing: before the judgement they said they couldn't take the Dutch bite into consideration as it was another jurisdiction - afterwards they cited it as a reason for the length. These football bodies make up policy and sanctions on the hoof that would see them crucified in an ET, but no-one will risk being thrown out of the club by challenging them.

I did say before the judgement that if FIFA made up policy on the hoof and no precedents that they risked making Luis the 'victim' (obviously not in England, where the only discussion revolves around which method of execution FIFA should administer their death penalty), and the Chellini reaction will be one of many outside the English-speaking world where people will be questioning this once the pitchforks have moved on.

I think the ban should have been 6 months to a year but only should been for international football. I know those clowns at the FA do not have the power to ban people from international football but could you imagine the outrage if they did and they included international matches to make up Suarez 10 match ban the last time. Regardless of the punishment I still think its time for Liverpool to cash in before FIFA or the FA give him a life long ban.

I knew you were heading this way, families who would say that their daughters or whatever murderer is facing too stiff a punishment I would bet would be in the extreme minority

Some countries allow the offender to buy the victims or in a murder case the victims families favour.

Such as in paying a girl loads of €'s to drop a rape case.<whistle>
