The only people defending him are doing it to wind people like you up.

Everyone else has said its a bite and that he'll get banned.

And I said this in the other thread to you, Liverpool have got nothing to do with this. We can do nothing with him while on International duty and the incident did not occur when playing for us.

""Now inside me there's no feelings of joy, revenge or anger against Suarez for an incident that happened on the pitch and that's done," said the Juventus centre-back.

"There only remain the anger and the disappointment about the match. At the moment my only thought is for Luis and his family, because they will face a very difficult period.

"I have always considered unequivocal the disciplinary interventions by the competent bodies, but at the same time I believe that the proposed formula is excessive.

"I sincerely hope that he will be allowed, at least, to stay close to his team mates during the games because such a ban is really alienating for a player.""

    --------------

    Maradona:

"The FIFA sanction is shameful, they have no sensitivity towards the fans, they might as well handcuff him and throw him in Guantanamo," said Maradona, who himself was given a 15-month ban from football during the 1994 World Cup for testing positive for the banned stimulant ephedrine.

"The sanction on Luis is a way of punishing Uruguayan clubs for asking CONMEBOL (the South American confederation) for a fairer share of money. It hurts that they have cut short the career of a lad who is a winner. It's an excessive suspension, FIFA cannot talk about morals to anyone.

"Suarez didn't kill anyone. This is an unjust punishment."

    Brazilian striker Fred:

"You can't deny that he made a mistake, but myself as a player, as a human being, I understand that inside, players get goosebumps. There's tension, a fight for space," he said.

"I think that his punishment is a bit too severe, from my point of view. I debated this with a few people, and most people think that it was fair.

"In my point of view it can end an athlete's career, four months, nine games and everyone all over it, and criticising the mistake he made.

"I do think he needs to be punished, but I would really like to see Suarez playing at this World Cup here in Brazil."

Obv Suarez is a silly twat but for some rival fans to be more outraged than Chiellini himself is pretty ridiculous

They just like to have a go, and will use any ammo they can find.
Suarez just helps them out now and again.

    Who's outraged?

He's just an idiot who's been punished for repeating the same offence. One that simply doesn't belong on a football pitch.

Fifa ban Fraz Beckenbauer from all football activity for 3 months for not giving evidence on corruption but lifted the ban today after just two weeks, Fifa are a law unto themselves and make the rules up as they go along to suit their snide agenda.<laugh>

The Suarez punishment and the fanfare he has created is the greatest distraction for FIFA underhanded behaviour.

Edit: Also, although he may have been found innocent and is actually cooperative, failing to disclose or withholding information regarding an investigation into corruption of a governing body at an international level carries a lesser ban than biting someone. <laugh>

I don't think the ban is necessarily excessive. I just think out of reality when compared to punches, kicks, elbows, etc.

This was why I knew, and everyone else knew the ban would be heavy, this is why he got a domestic ban and cannot even train. Be seen to do the right thing over doing the right thing
