Loris Karius

We're non going to replace both Karius and.Mignolet in one summer, no matter how many fans wish we would.

So who goes.. Klopp seems to prefer Karius, Karius is younger and can still be moulded. I also guarentee he won't make.THAT mistake again.

Logically that means Karius stays at the club. He might become backup if we get a better keeper. Or we might be stuck with him if Klopp doesn't get a new keeper. Either way he's going to be a Liverpool player for a while.

Migs is already gone. He said as much when he was dropped before being told to stfu

I really like Karius but I hope klopp is ruthless .

Everyone makes mistakes but the best players make far less mistakes. Which is why we should be looking to bring in more quality players - not just for the GK.

Unfortunately, I don’t think Klopp thinks like that. I think he is loyal to the hard workers in the squad and that is what will cost us.

I don't think it's a loyalty issue. He's not going to sign 6+ players mate, that's not his style. He will look to bring in 2-3 and minimise disruption.

Plus, he signs quality over quantity

Put it this way - if Milner, Henderson and Lovren are starters next season, then the summer will already be a failure.

Pure undisputed starters? I’d agree. But we know this a work in progress. Maybe our “all in” moment should’ve happened past couple of windows but I don’t think the powers that be felt we’d be this far ahead of and that the “all in” window was still to come.

When everyone is fit, Milner isn't a starter now, Oxlade is ahead of him (and Can but he's leaving).

I don't think any of them will leave this summer but not do I think they'll all be first choice either.

Isn't Milly out of contract this summer?

I don’t expect them to leave - they can be decent squad options. But they simply cannot be the main starters. And I hope VVD becomes captain as well.

I think that's inevitable but Klopp will be loyal to Hendo and Milner when they're on the pitch.

Personally, I don't give a **** who is captain. Wearing a armband doesn't change how you act on the pitch.

Some players thrive on being captains. You can see that for some it would be a burden. Would you give it to Salah? No as it may distract from his focus. I would give it to VVD as he would get the respect from others and could see what was happening in front of him. But he’ll have to wait until Henderson leaves.

I don't think anything will change if VVD had the armband.

I wouldn't give Salah purely because I believe the captain should be in defence or midfield where they can see and communicate with everyone

Again, this is where klopp needs to be ruthless.

I get Gez’s point that leaders don’t need an armband but maybe someone like VVD Doesn’t want to undermine Hendo by doing things like talking to the ref etc etc.

VVD commands respect - waltzed straight into defence and he is the leader. And no one wants to **** with him. I actually think Hendo’s game would improve without the burden of captaincy. When we need players to stand up in tough times, Hendo hides. And we can’t have that.

Those people’s misery reaches much farther than the misery of losing a football final. They upset me too, but they have to line in their anger existences. Not us.

Just a note to condemn the death threats that Karius has received, there is never a need for that sh!t. I hope the police are on top of it
These people must be really thick. Because they achieve the exact opposite of what we presume they want. Karius has lots of sympathy from all, the manager feels he can’t sack the player in case it’s being seen to giving in to these low lives.

Klopp won't care about the comments when making his decision. Besides, he'd have made his mind up before the final anyway

I find this difficult to believe. Here was a player he had used throughout the season. And if Karius has pulled off a few match winning saves instead of making the balls up, he would have kept the player. Would any LFC manager get rid of a CL winning history making hero?
