Sorry Tash but yet again I disagree with you. I don't know where to start.

Agreed occasionally some women do lie, but I do not believe they are the majority.

If you had any idea what rape victims go through .... the medical examinations, pregnancy testing, STI treatment ..... the issues of having the trauma of repeating the details of a painful, embarrassing, humiliating experience over & over again

Being in court with the perpetrator, while the defense lawyer question her(him) about the most intimated details of their lives & try to make them look as if they were responsible for the event. Many describe the ordeal of court as a hugely traumatic

Less rapes are reported than take place

Hundred percent certainty Tash, you're opinion would be different if you knew anybody who had been raped.

I would gladly go to prison forever to rip apart anyone who's hurt my loved ones, because sure as **** no defence lawyer is going to get the chance to get a scumbag off the hook.

The woman that reported this needs to be treated as a victim of crime and given full support.
Your attitude is that she is a a bitch for reporting as serious offense against her.
The police have to believe what she says and bring the culprits to justice.
If she is found out to have lied then of course she should go to prison.

I agree that it is wrong that Remi's name is out in the open straight away when he has not been found guilty of anything.
 
It's a tricky one Hoops because you need to bear in mind that there is a potentially huge upside for a woman to make a false allegation against a ridiculosly wealthy young man and it probably quite easy to make the evidence fit,even dosing themselves with Rohypnol potentially.As the song says money is the root of all evil,in all honesty it's a mess.
 
If it's true he gets £75,000 a week just go get a prostitute from Middlesbrough, National do a great bus deal, cheaper than prison, saying that though you get sum uggs in Smogville
 
I new a lad who was from south shields (I won't name names) about 6 yrs ago he was accused of assault/rape by this girl on a night out out. The nxt morning he was arrested and tests where done on him and her, he was charged with it. A few weeks later on the court day the pressure built up and the girl broke down and said it was a pack of lies, that he hadn't wanted anything more than sex and she wasn't happy with just that. He had to leave his home town because he was bullied and his house was targeted by morons, that's how easy it can be. Not saying that Rape doesn't happen at all just saying it also can be complete Bullshit!
 
In all seriousness, anonymity for this kind of crime is paramount. When there is no more evidence than one person's word against another, it should be kept quiet.

In all non-seriousness, I thought this was a case of bring graped, rather than raped. There was a bunch of 'em...
 
According to news reports the women who reported the rape is 34. I will wait with an open mind and see what transpires.

No person should be afraid to report a rape or any level of sexual abuse. If the allocations prove to be false then the women in question should be named and prosecuted for wasting police time and trying to damage people’s reputations.

However is the allegations prove to have merit then all three men should be prosecuted to the full letter of the law.

Not really.

Civil claims for rape are very rare. If the accused is convicted, then there is no basis for punitive damages. If he isn't, you are on shaky grounds suing him. The damages claimable are unlikely to be more than you could get faking a decent whiplash claim (this is assuming that you've made the decision to perjure yourself ot obtain compensation and are looking for the best way to do it), and you can be sure that the case will be much more vigorously defended than any whiplash claim.

The idea that this is an easy way to make money is simply incorrect.
