They look awful

Maybe in the first half, but, I thought they played well in the second half. Passed and retained the ball really well. (Some of there mid field interchange approached that of Reals performance in the first half where Real pinged the ball around with such amazing rapid speed between themselves.) And that was against the best team in the world, yes I know they had already won the game. And we will have to have a plan for Sterling he looked good on the left hand side. Not bashing our boys but if we could get to the level that Liverpool where at with there ball retention in the second half let alone Real Madrid on a consistent basis we would improve immensely-its one of the poorest parts of our game with many passes going to the opposition.

We will have to be on top of our game to get a result on Saturday.

We have a real chance of picking up all three points at Anfield. Optimism chaps!

An early goal, the crowd on their back and you never know. I think we'll need to score twice or more mind.

Haven't we scored two goals in every game since the window shut? No more no less?

Most by Jelavic, who isn't playing, Oh well.
Wondering how big a miss Jelly will be for us at the weekend, he works so hard and you can't see the other strikers matching the work-rate. Probably in a minority of one on this but would have liked to have seen Sagbo given a run of games in the same position given Jellys injury, am guessing he is completely out of favour given the loan and not going to be re-called

Thought Sagbo was struggling to get into the Wolves team.

He couldn't be recalled for another week yet anyway.

Liverpool just bought poor players over the summer.

Lovren is not the defender they thought he was
Lallana is a decent player, injury has affected his season so far
Can was brought in more as one for the future. He looks decent but only appeared fleetingly this season
Markovic - odd transfer given Sterling, Lallana, Coutinho already in the squad
Balotelli - was already going to be questionable but the player is only two goals away from probably being a Liverpool hero. Penalties enhanced his career to date
Moreno - decent left back
Lambert - just not seen him feature

Looking back over previous seasons and it seems to me that Rogers has bought badly before
Alberto, Aspas, Mignolet, Toure, ilori, Sakho, Borini, Allen, Assaidi, Sturridge, Coutinho

Each of the above with a couple of exceptions is a £10m+ signing.

Safe to say Rogers mantra was enhanced by having an exceptional Suarez, unearthing Sterling and Gerrard amongst his ranks

Out of that lot, only Lallana as come out looking good so far despite being very expensive for what he is. However, our best signing of the summer is playing in France!
