That would be my thought. Ash has bags of experience at this level and should play. Dave Terry Cahill and Cole is still a very good defence. Midfield battle is key in this tie due to AM's pressing game and counter attacking ability so very important we have a workmanlike and energetic midfield. I wonder if this isn't the game for Frank? Luiz and Ramires in the middle.

Jose proves the media love to make up twaddle, cole's back in his preferred position.
I'd say thats a good line up and one that's prepared for a tactical battle of epic proportions let the best team win!!!
 
Jose is proper parking the bus, playing a side full of big physical midfielders. 4 players who have been playing as Defensive midfielders this season. Hopefully Atletico will get an early goal, might make it more entertaining for the neutrals :biggrin:

Not being funny, but who gives a sh!t about the neutrals? Chelsea play for chelsea not any football hipsters that love to see goals flying in from all angles. Hopefully chelsea will keep it tight win 1-0 and then, you know actually win a champions league semi final. (something most other english clubs aren't near to achieving).
 
A very tight midfield - could work in your favour. Lacking any real flair though.

That was ****ing awful to watch, all that talent and you don't even try and win a game?

I just don't get it like, thought Mourinho was some kind of master? Away goals count double, if Atleti get one, based on that, you are ****ed.

What gives?
 
It was fairly enbarressing to watch. Chelsea with every man in there half, faking injuries and slowing the game down with niggly fouls. Atletico should have taken one of there many half chances though. Raul Garcia in particular had a fair few decent chances with his head:biggrin:

Not saying it's Chelsea's fault, it's just enbarressing that you spend all that money on players, and then resort to playing like that. Surely your players have more footballing ability than that? :biggrin:
