Said Delap is reminiscent of Kane from the start (only for others to now latch on).
Will now be the first to say Philogene is the new Zaha.
I'll leave Morton to someone else, as it would be too greedy of me to bag all 3 .... plus I can't ATM see an appropriate comparison.
I would say Morton was the big miss yesterday. Takes pressure off Seri being the only hub and shows for the centre backs when they can't deicide what to do with the ball and end up passing between themselves.
Hope he's back soon.

His goal tally is comparable to Kane’s when considered against age.
I've said it before I saw Kane playing for Norwich at there place when we won 2-0, Koren and Cairney from memory. He looked like a fish out of water. Terrible touch, wrong option every time. The budgie fans didn't fancy him at all....What a player he turned out to be...His goal from his own half last night for BM was sublime.

It's worth noting Kane didn't start scoring regularly until he was 21/22, at Delaps age as he is now, he scored 4 in 19 appearances. That part of his game will improve.
I remember Kane being particularly underwhelming. Certainly not as good as Delap is now. Pretty sure he was mentioned by us as a potential loanee to a distinct lack of enthusiasm after his Leicester loan.

Then he turned up at Tottenham's pre-season and was a totally different player. He went from a nobody to first team in a matter of a month, just by absolutely destroying in friendlies.

It seemed an amazing transformation at the time.

The thought of living in and playing for leicester will do that to you

I asked someone where they lived and he showed me a picture and said “In the low block.”

I used to be a speedy svelt sweeper. Now I'm just a tardy fat bullshitting bastard.

And that's marketing progress for you. A new dawn.:emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink: A revitalized yawn.

I think it's fair to say that the arrival of Delap, Morton and especially Philogene have taken us to another level from where we were at, nice blend of youth and experience now, and it's noticeable how much Seri improves when he has the young legs of Morton doing his hard yards alongside of him, and the outlets of Delap and Philo to aim for. We have a way to go yet, but seems all the squad are buying into the principles being coached. Hopefully the speed of movement and passing will improve as they become.more trusting of each other, there's a chance good things may happen this season, we live in hope, especially now we've got the monkey off our back with the home form.

I agree completely but I just don’t see the similarities between Kane and Delap, they have completely different qualities and traits

The only similarity is that they’re both quite tall and English, I would say Haaland and Delap are better comparisons
