I don't see any similarity to Haaland.

Tall, strong, and very fast with an awkward running style, prefers making runs in behind following through balls, bullies defenders physically, primarily goes for the power shots over placement.

    So Kane.

Not sure I'd say Haaland is known for making runs in behind when most of his goals are poacher goals from crosses driven in to him. If anything Oscar and Haaland have more similar attributes than Delap.

I would say Kane is the complete opposite honestly, often drops deep, links up play, places his shots, great passing. He’s a lot more classy and easy on the eyes.

I recommend watching more of Haaland before his time at Man City, he’s had to change his play style a lot due their tactics but watch some clips of his time at Dortmund & Salzburg and you’ll see what I mean

Definitely interesting how we all perceive players so differently

I think Delap drops deep quite regularly and takes the ball and drives past the defensive line. As you say though, different perceptions of players is what makes discussion fun! I accept that Haaland has changed from what he was, I suppose I was comparing where he's at now, but you're right that at the same age they may have been more similar.

Yeah for such a big guy Delap’s technical ability to hold it up and also get past people is very impressive, must be scary seeing him run at you :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Of course all players are slight different from each other, I wouldn't say he was closer in style to Haaland though than Kane, Harland is a more poacher and box player. Delap drops a bit deeper and then turns are runs at defences and often goes wide and pull's defenders with him.
