yeah, a lot of this back and knock and other such stuff was really covering an ankle injury that started way back in preseason as far as i recall.

We knoew for months (certainly after gomez knee exploded) that it'd be a jolly good idea to get someone but then failed to.
 
If you apply the formulas for 2 from 8 players you get a total possible combinations of 28.

For example Phillip's and matip never played together nor van dijk and fabinho
 
Total Expected Assists in the Big 5 Leagues since the start of 2018/19. Few things that strike out to me:

- Messi is such a freak of a footballer.
- Trent is such a talent and teams should be built around him (note to Southgate!)
- Salah is one of the best all around attackers in the world
- Depay could be a very good free transfer ...

the problem with depay is is he's playing semi pro in france.

the thing i would take form above is no neymar, no mbappe. What the hell are those two at in france to justify thier vast wages? Di maria must be thier water carrier.

Muller must set up half of Lewandoksi's goals.

can we clearly clarify here once and for all. It doesn't matter what trent does. he's not a big English brute like walker or james. He is a slight lad and clearly can't play football as a result.

Its clear the country is still in shock that a great english player like Deir has been left out and southgate will be sacked in the morning.

Dribbled past doesn’t mean an awful lot on its own. Especially as he plays so high up that normally it’s balls in behind he’s caught out on.

Also you need to know how many times he is attempted to be dribbled past for it to mean much. 0.71 out of 1 is a terrible stats. 0.71 out of 10 is great.

Think I read that Walker and Sanchez given away most pens this season as well at 3 each.

Given Walker is supposedly the most solid and prob spends the least amount of time in his own box that’s pretty shocking.

Which makes Trent’s number even more impressive given he has a high starting position with a lot of space in behind, but is still dribbled past the least times vs his counterparts.

The 0.71 is the actual number per 90 mins. I can try and find the % if that’s helps
